Sun in Broxbourne

Popped in here on our way back from a family day out for some food. Had really good service and the food was of good quality too. The place was virtually empty, but was very big so I'm assuming it gets busy here during dinner time periods. Overall would definitely recommend!

Lovely decorated family pub, good selection on the menu, decent sized portions too. Friendly staff and good service, didn’t have to wait long for our food. Plenty of parking and also has a lovely garden to enjoy the weather. Would definitely recommend.

Nice staff, served very quickly and food was nice. Has parking, pool and allows dogs. Recommend for a quiet Sunday afternoon

Nice pub but unfortunately no "visiting" real ales, only their own brewery offerings which I don't care for!! Wifey had a large glass of Sav. Blanc which was very good.

I'm giving this place five star s .. it's a lovely place for drinks with friends .. on very busy night s can get crowded .. it's a loud pub .loud is nice . I just think it should be bigger.. but I'd definitely go back to this pub.

Their Sunday roast dinner is so lovely that I almost don't want to share this review. Best to book on Sundays. Normal menu is available 7 days a week and they do specials occasionally (veganuary for instance). Never been during the week or evenings, but would recommend for a relaxed weekend family gathering. Kids welcome. Decent garden for the summer & a car park at the back.

Had a 1:30 Xmas Fayre lunch today, pub was full but not crowded. Food well presented and the portions were large.we had a party of 16 plus a couple of smaller children, so our tastes and choices varied. Staff were excellent, and when our food came we were all served quickly and together. During the meal waitresses checked to make sure we had sufficient drinks. A splendid afternoon. On Speaking to my 'party' afterwards , everyone said how they enjoyed their visit.

Well sign posted through the back car Park to enter. Met by a very friendly man very easy to track and trace in hand sanitizer at the entrance. Was offered sitting indoors or outdoors we chose outdoors. Was explained the one-way system and ordering food and drinks. Again the gentleman taken the order was very helpful and friendly. My friend had the roast and I had the vegetarian burger. We both chose Eton mess for dessert. My drink which was suggested by the man was lovely . Plenty of food great price. Can't fault it at all well done guys. Hope to see you

Poor quality food, cooked badly and over priced. 2 stars because the staff are nice. Desserts god though.Chicken sharer starter, everything over cooked. Haloumi burger had a fried onion ring patty inside that was glistening with grease. Bacon cheese burger, substandard patty, burnt on the outside. Poor quality bacon. I didn't think it was possible to have bad tasting bacon?!?!?Waffle and brownie desserts were nice, but not nice enough to prompt a return.
