First take away from here in a while, worried about some of the recent reviews, but only waited 20 minutes (collection) and food was superb

Order early on the weekend if you plan a takeaway here . Can be under an hour if you do, otherwise it's so popular you could be waiting a while. Thoroughly recommend the stuffed aubergine if you fancy something different. Everything I've ordered from here has been top notch. Only 4 stars due to occasional slow deliveries, but not had a problem if ordering early.

Such a shame the food is generally very good, which is why we come here.Tonight food was luke warm and the staff could not get rid of us quick enough ,turning off the heating and giving us the bill without asking for it. So sad that is why we have given this review.

We were invited by friends to join them at The Taste of China. Had heard reports that food was not as good as in the past but friends reassured us saying recent reports had been good. We had not been to a Chinese restaurant for over two years. I can only say the meal surpassed our expectations. The food was excellent, hot and the service was good. Will definitely be returning. Such a change from the invasion of Turkish restaurants in Hoddesdon and Broxbourne

Waited nearly 2 hours for a delivery.Called and called, no answer.Drove down to see what was going on.. Waited a further 20 minutes with another couple of people in the same boat as me.Finally handed my food, without so much as a sorry. Poor service all round.Food was nice enough though when I finally got to eat it nearly 3 hours after I ordered.

Ordered a takeaway, collection, pick up time was 7, but not actually ready until 7 40. Very frustrating as they appeared to have taken too many orders. Food quality suffered as it is normally excellent.

Cant remember the last time I ate Chinese food of that quality....really fresh tasty food. Staff have got it just right.....not too intrusive. Used to go years ago & will be going back.....we'll done

PLEASE STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO LIVE! Me and my family ordered food from here last night for the first time through just eat. We were disgusted to have been served RAW chicken. Not a little bit pink, pure raw! We contacted the shop who were happy for us to drive down and show them the chicken then guess what, we got there and the shop was shut! These people are happy to poison their customers and run away from the problem. We have reported them to just eat and we are reporting them to environmental health before customers get food poisoning from this place. We are hoping we do not get ill from this. I will let the images do the talking below.

Very disappointing. This is the second worst Chinese restaurant we’ve ever visited.Male staff member was very rude and peculiar. He asked what we wanted to order without having a book to write it down and ended missing one of our dishes. Female member was very polite and attentive.Duck was nice, ribs were decent and the crab claws tasted fresh. However:1. This was the worst and most tasteless Singapore noodles I’ve ever tasted. They were grey in colour2. The rice had no salt3. Shredded chilli beef sauce was too sweet and there was minimal beef in the batter4. Salt and chilli Squid was so chewy5. Cutlery and 2 plates were dirty (had to ask for clean)6. There were no complimentary prawn crackers! (We spent £89)The price is extortionate compared to other local Chinese restaurants that sell better quality food and at a lesser price. Everything we ordered came to £89!We will not be visiting again and do not recommend.

Having read reviews for this restaurant. I thought that as myself and my husband had visited very recently, it would help to leave a review ourselves. We had lovely food, which was fresh and tasty and we found that the staff were all friendly and attentive. I have been here several times over the last few years and have never been disappointed or experienced any problems.
