The Goffs Oak in Broxbourne

Came in here for a bite to eat this evening. Love this place, come in quite often and service and food is always brilliant. Laura, Jordan and Ariane really looked after me and the manager Alex seemed to have a real hands on and team focused approach to how things are ran. Would 100% recommend to anyone. Thank you guys for a lovely meal.

I had an excellent meal at the Goffs at lunchtime on a Saturday. It was busy enough to have a good atmosphere without being too manic.The staff were friendly and informal whilst still being professional and efficient. The service was excellent.The choice and quality of the food was very good and the prices were reasonable.I don't live in the area now (the Goffs used to be my local, but not for some years now), but i will return when I am next visiting relatives in the area.

Fabulous lunch! Had a craving for pasta and their king prawn, crab and chorizo linguine certainly filled it. My partner ate the dirty burger and absolutely loved it. The gravy was perfect for dunking the burger in, maybe a wider dish next time? Even made room to share a dessert, something we'd never had before but thoroughly enjoyed.

We held our Son’s christening party at The Goffs Oak pub and so pleased we did! Jansen and the team were so helpful throughout, even helped decorate our area for us. The food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble! Thank you! X

Visited today for a birthday lunch with my son was very impressed service was very good. Menu was just perfect had the salad with grilled haloumi, atmosphere ideal will certainly be back soon. Thank you

Food was really good,usually on special occasions where they do set meals the portions are smaller & sometimes your rushed. Not the case last night. Lucy's a great waitress . Gas a lovely evening....thanks

I went for Sunday roast dinner unfortunately the kitchen had closed but the staff pulled all the strings and offered me some soup, it was very tasty I really enjoyed and their crispy Squid is yummy. Excellent service

Visited for the first time yesterday with my parents and daughter. First of all our waitress Laura was notably brilliant - can't quite put my finger on why but she was the perfect mix of friendly and attentive without being pushy. I never normally would comment on the wait staff particularly but we all commented how great she is at her job. Delicious food, excellent range of options even for veggies, great kids menu, great selection of drinks and a lovely decor/atmosphere/ outside space. Glad this is my new local! I'm going to enjoy the rest of my pizza today for lunch as it as so large!

Utterly fabulous food; every dish was SO scrumptious, and beautifully presented (can someone please compliment the chef for us). The steak may well be the best I have ever had! The cocktails were yummy (and pretty), and the service friendly, helpful, efficient – without being obtrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed, warm, welcoming, and with a feeling of having your own little nook in an open and spacious maze of nooks and spaces. I loved the lighting, and the old leather looking sofas for those having a drink. We ate inside not out, but I had a peek and the garden looked lovely too. Thank you for a wonderful dinner with great service in a very pretty place. (Good parking too!)

This is my third attempt to write the review but they seem to disappear.Well I can say after three attempts is this place is the place to go.The food was delicious and kept up to standard on each visit.I would highly recommend this place to anyone as this is originally a recommendation from a colleague that I have thanks multiple times due to the service hospitality and delicious food.I would like to thank everyone from the bar staff, waiters, managers and most importantly to the chefs who work behind the scenes and most the time go un noticed. They are the ones make this delicious food, that I rave about non stop.thank you for making both my experiences amazing, welcoming and filling.The friends and family that I have brought here have all looked in their diaries to book another dinner out here.Like I said above I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to have a date night, a meal out or a spontaneous hungry person.Good food = happy people.This is only me second time visiting, but I plan on becoming a regular as I love good food.Thank you again to the whole team at the goffs oak for my wonderful experiences.
