Great atmosphere and friendly staff with decently priced pints - beware though, they restrict access at 10.30 - if you turn up even 3 minutes after you will be denied entry.I've not got a problem with this apart from the security saying "it's clear on our Facebook" - as someone who is a first time visitor to the pub and doesn't have Facebook...no it isn't...I'd still recommend, unless you are visiting in the evening. Good atmosphere and well priced, with ample outdoor seating and a DJ on the weekend.

Great pub, food is top notch and the bosses (Maj n Pat) are lovely... bar staff work really hard, so the pub runs really smoothly! Best pub in the area.

·

Friendly pub great for football, disco nights and food.

Been here a few times and it always has a good atmosphere! Friendly staff and a decent selection of beers.

Best pub in Cheshunt - period!Great friendly staff, wide selection of drinks, well priced, shows sport, and open late, live weekend entertainment. A proper British boozer - not many like this still around. Don't change!

Called in for a roast. I had beef my other half had ham hock. Absolutely massive. Really tasty much made the mistake of ordering a starter

Our son had his Holy Communion party at The Red Cow, and we couldn’t of picked a better place to have it. Everything about the day was great, we were able to decorate before the party of 50+ arrived, the food provided over the BBQ was 10/10. Very friendly atmosphere and I can’t thank the The Red Cow staff enough for providing a great day. Lastly great space for kids as well.Thank you Rob.

Very good selection of British craft beers, one of the best around. Place is a bit small so gets packed very quickly, have stopped in on a week night as well as a weekend both times all the tables were taken and the place was very busy. Bar keep was very helpful and knowledgeable about the beers.

Like a time warp to a bad pub in the 80's. On the plus side, plenty of local lads enjoying it, DJ Terry plays on Thursdays apparently and there's a bookies and a curry house directly opposite. Everything within spitting distance.
