Burritos of al pastor with chimichurri taste like real Mexico. Quesadillas of chorizo are also fantastic!

I don't know how they dare to call their food Mexican. I would go as far as to say it was the worst meal I've ever had, I didn't eat it as it was unpalatable. The food is oily/ greasy and tasteless food. Paying extra for a minuscule pot of guacamole for Tacos, which should have come as standard. A piece of advice, save your money and time and explore other food options!

Disappointingly bland. I ordered a burrito, turning down the guacamole. The guy didn't ask any further questions about how I'd like it, so I foolishly assumed they knew how to make a burrito. When I ate it, it had literally zero spice. No salsa, no chilli of any sort. Just white starchy blandness. The chicken in it was not flavoured in any discernible way. There was a tiny bit of flavourless cheese. The pickiest eater in the world would love these things. £8 for a small burrito is also a bit much, especially when you then charge £1+ for extras like guacamole.

Outstanding, delicious food!!! Blue corn tortillas are SO good and hold together for all 3 of your tacos. Fresh, excellent flavors. YUMMY!!!

I ordered a steak burrito and was given pork instead.I have ordered previously and, but this time knew straight away that something was wrong. I asked the guy that made my burrito if that was steak and he reassured that it was. Obviously it wasn't 🙄I don't eat pork and I find this very offensive.If I pay £8.50 for a steak burrito I expect to be served what I paid for and not something else.

Food is okay, the people are nice, but they charge £1.40 for guacamole and then forget to put it in the burrito... I'm a quarter way through, I let them know, he assures me "it's in there" then half way through, still nothing. I mention it to them, that I still don't taste any and they don't respond... awkward!I'm done now and still no £1.40 guacamole. Disappointed. Don't think i will be back 🤷🏾‍♀️

I was looking for real Mexican tacos and I got them, the al pastor tacos are really good and tasty, but the carnitas one are just ok, and they charge you extra for salsa (a must in Mexican food, so should be free, at least one) however I will definitely go back.

It may look like your average “pink” neighborhood food van, but Alchile Mexican Gourmet is anything but!I went with two friends on a Wednesday night, and was immediately greeted by the most friendly staff and incredible aroma of FRESH Mexican food.The pink van was filling up quickly (it was almost 14:00 pm) but we managed to get one of the four tables arranged outside as a couple was just leaving.We ordered tacos “al pastor”... they where recommended by the staff, then ribeye steak tacos and the vegetarian option, tacos believe it or not, made from cactus plants....The tortillas as fresh as it gets, they just made all of them in front of us! They are a bluish colour full of goodness, and the fresh chilli sauce, wasn’t too spicy neither, robust but not overpowering. When we tasted “al pastor” (marinaded pork meat) tacos our expectations continued to be exceeded.The vegetarian cactus taco was crisp, flavourful, along with lovely feta cheese, The toppings worked together beautifully. The ribeye steak tacos were packed with flavour, tender and very little fat. By the end of our Mexican-taco-gourmet-journey we were planning our next visit.

Stopped for a bite to eat before catching a train. The food was not particularly good. I was expecting flavours to burst in my mouth but it was bland. I paid extra for guac and chipotle sauce and didn’t have either in my wrap. To top it off there was a hair in my food. Disgusting
