Arena Sandwich Bar in Cambridge

We've going to the Arena, the iced latte is the best in town, the food is great, savoury crepes today yum, the atmosphere is good small and intimate. The service is quick and friendly.its the only place we like to go for lunch now when we are in town.

Nice food ,fresh ,great service .A little on pricey side for me but worth it.

Friendly & efficient staff, efficient good quality food (that mound of bacon was so crispy... nom...), good options, really smooth coffee. Honestly, we did not expect it to be as good from the outside view, and only took a gamble because it was the first place we found and didn't have time to explore more. This place feels like a little secret, that's happy to be unobtrusive with its slightly out of time feel. But lovely all the same, and well worth it.

A little hidden gem. Very nice cafe with great desserts on offer and very good coffee.Seems unassuming but is lovely inside with nice outdoor seating too.The desserts are awesome, with a really nice mix. Coffee also was excellent, strong.Would recommend.

I would have left 0 stars if possible. We paid about 10 quid for a veggie breakfast (without the egg as there were no other vegan options). I had a pot of beans, 2 slices of tomatoes, a single hash brown, a piece of toast with no butter (again no dairy free alternative) and a couple of mushrooms that tasted like pure grease. My friends had the meat breakfast, simply impossible to cook meat in the time it took without a microwave. Food was not good.When we tried to complain we were told there was nothing we could do because the manager wasn't there. They insisted nothing was microwaved while the ping of the microwave echoed in the background.Awful handling of our complaint to.Would not recommend.

Cake was fine, hot chocolate sweet and luxurious. The owner or manager, did feel the need to chastise a young member of staff in front of us and other staff members. It was embarrassing and unnecessary abuse of power, will not return.

Absolutely delicious food served by a friendly team. All food was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. Service was efficient and prices were reasonable. I would recommend to anyone who wants to take a moment to relax and simply enjoy their food.

Fantastic food. Had a full English. Yummy. Great friendly and fast service. Reasonable prices too. Am looking forward to my next visit. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little place in a very convenient location. Really good prices and great value for money. Lovely coffee too!!
