Cafe Arena in Cambridge

I would have left 0 stars if possible. We paid about 10 quid for a veggie breakfast (without the egg as there were no other vegan options). I had a pot of beans, 2 slices of tomatoes, a single hash brown, a piece of toast with no butter (again no dairy free alternative) and a couple of mushrooms that tasted like pure grease. My friends had the meat breakfast, simply impossible to cook meat in the time it took without a microwave. Food was not good.When we tried to complain we were told there was nothing we could do because the manager wasn't there. They insisted nothing was microwaved while the ping of the microwave echoed in the background.Awful handling of our complaint to.Would not recommend.

Cake was fine, hot chocolate sweet and luxurious. The owner or manager, did feel the need to chastise a young member of staff in front of us and other staff members. It was embarrassing and unnecessary abuse of power, will not return.

Always good food and coffee here. Ideal place to wait whilst your wife does Primark.😊

Fantastic food. Had a full English. Yummy. Great friendly and fast service. Reasonable prices too. Am looking forward to my next visit. Would highly recommend.

Crowded but comfy.

Absolutely delicious food served by a friendly team. All food was cooked to perfection and the portions were generous. Service was efficient and prices were reasonable. I would recommend to anyone who wants to take a moment to relax and simply enjoy their food.

Lovely little place, super friendly and attentive staff. Very quick service and clean up. Food and tea/coffee all excellent. Their muffins are exceptional!

Love this place, it's been a regular haunt for a few years. Lovely food, delicious breakfasts, burgers and cibattas - still to find an unlikable dish! They also provide blue light discount which is fab. Definitely recommend people try the mint hot choc.
