Popped in for a Saturday morning breakfast purely by chance and was not disappointed at all.A wonderful place, plenty of seating and a welcoming atmosphere. Staff were polite, friendly and service was very quick. There was only about 8-12 covers in which possibly helped but I've no reason to suspect anything other than good service.I opted for a favourite of Eggs Benedict and coffee. The muffins were perfectly roasted, wonderfully poached (no uncooked white and a golden, runny yolk). The sauce was tangy and creamy and there was plenty of it, too. Delicious. My wife enjoyed the full breakfast and there no complaints from across the table!Coffee was equally tasty and served with hot milk for me and cold milk for my wife's rather well sized pot of tea.Clean and well kept WC although be aware they are up some steep and narrow (and short, mind your head!) stairs. I didn't notice, but didn't look specifically, any accessible bathrooms, but I'm sure there probably is some in there. We enjoyed our breakfast so much, we made a promise to return for dinner and I hope to enjoy the same good service and standard of food. Quite looking forward to it.

Whilst on the surface, the menu seems to lack much imagination - the execution of the dishes was superb. The beef bourguignon was definitely a reason to come back. Service was very slick and there is a large amount of seating. No down payment necessary to reserve a table, reasonably priced wine list too.

Nice place to get some French bites. Thought the food was great overall. Absolutely loved the mushroom pate. Extremely harmonious dish which really demonstrated the absolute flavor superiority of the funghi kingdom. Only wish there was a couple more pieces of bread because I had a bunch of extra pate after that I just ate straight up. The confit pork belly was also great, and the bed of vegetables below actually played an excellent supporting role with many subtle flavors that kept each bite interesting. Also tried the creme brulee, but that was just ok and wouldn't recommend at the price.Overall the atmosphere was nice and relaxing and the service was good. Very strong place to enjoy a meal.

Noisy and busy on a Saturday afternoon (but in a good way - lots of atmosphere and not so noisy that you can't hear your fellow diners). Typical no-fussy Cote food done well. Our waiter, Antonio, was a star - really polite, attentive and good humoured.

Have been to Cote several times in London and Cote Cambridge was not a disappointment to me, the food tasted good as usual and I loved the fact it's located in the centre of Cambridge - you got the sense of campus life while you are enjoying some delicious french food, highly recommended

To earn one Michelin star, a restaurant needs to be “a very good restaurant in this category”. For two stars, it needs to be “excellent cooking, worth a detour”. For three stars, a restaurant must serve “exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👌

If you’re feeling like some good French food in the centre of Cambridge, then Cote is a cozy and lovely place to come for a meal.We booked through an online booking system which was very easy to use but the restaurant was not quite empty at the time we chose ie 20:00Service was lovely, food was very good and enjoyed by all.The reason I’ve not given this a 5 start rating is as follows:1. Although the pork belly was totally delicious, I found the portion really small. (Not unusual for French food though)2. We were a party of 5 and three of the meals we requested were not available on the night (very frustrating). Unfortunately, we were only told this after we had spent about 15 minutes deciding what we were going to eat.3. The menu was a bit sparse for choice and leaned heavily to seafood but NO ESCARGOT??? This is unforgivable 😏Having said all of that, I’d go back for sure! 🙂

A wonderful evening with beautiful food, atmosphere and great service. Thoroughly enjoyed my daughter's birthday and the kind gift of bubbles made it extra special. Love it here.

We walked in with no reservation but was seated really quickly on a nice table. We had a really enjoyable lunch, good ambiance, service and food

We were welcomed by a very friendly lady who seatted us in a booth to the back for the restaurant. I had the pate with a gorgeous fruity chuckney followed by the pork belly which was amazing melt in the mouth I recommend it. To end the meal I had the Chocolate tart. Delicious meal on a very very wet September Day. Staff are attentive.
