Very underrated place. Had a lovely food and experience. Made friends with the chef who came to say hi and waiters were fantastic.

Nothing wrong with the food. The problem was with the staff; I know that UK rules have changed due to covid, which is well accepted and understood, but to be presented with the bill whilst in the middle of a meal - well before the cut off time is not very professional, but to be abused by the staff for not dealing with it then and there, is totally unacceptable. My bill was paid on time and within the legal timeframe. If this is the staff's attitude to customers, I would recommend staying well clear of the place. I know I will.

Went here last night with apprehension seeing the views, but felt like it was extremely underrated, food was incredible full of flavour and was the perfect portion size for the both of us! Service was second to none, incredibly welcoming and felt like a lovely local owned business. Would go again anytine

My wife and I ate here when we visited Cambridge two months ago. We only ordered a main course, which admittedly was tasty. We ordered two coffees with the bill. We were shocked when we the bill came to nearly £50. They stuck on a £5 service charge and charged £4.95 EACH for two cups of old coffee. Needless to say we ended up feeling ripped off and we did not leave a tip.

My wife and I have visited twice. We love the food. Waiters are slightly taciturn and lack interest but this is a plus for us as we don't like overly attentive table service. Owner offered complimentary g&ts when he found out it was my birthday at the end of the meal. Will definitely visit again

The inside & service:The restaurant has a retro feeling, and there was only one server when I went, however there were no problems in terms of service. Very kind man. Selection of music is also very tranquil and soft. Chill atmosphere. The Food:Soft, amazing basmati rice with cinnamon aroma,The lamb curry I ordered was incredibly nice, the meat was tender, the chargrilled vegetables inside the curry was not over cooked and kept a nice texture. The plate seemed small in size, but it was more than satisfactory.Location:The restaurant is in the backstreet, in the shadow. I truly wish it was in the main street for more attention, however I also enjoyed the discrete ambience of the restaurant. To conclude:The food is not completely traditional, and slight adjustments has been made in the recipe, probably in order to adapt the taste to the customers which comes.I really enjoyed the meal, and it definitely is better than the common burgers and pizzas you get in Cambridge.Definitely recommended,I'll be back again.

So they threw our food on the table without really looking at us as they did so. They didn't offer us any napkins, and even after we asked for some - they ignored the request. They forgot parts of our order. They gave us tiny plates so as to disguise the fact that they gave us tiny portions. All in all a terrible place to go for a curry (the name should have given me that information). The worst part was the general demeanor of the staff; they just seemed to have nothing but disdain for us.

Sorry guys. Very low quality generic slop. Nice staff and service is good but this place has remained at the bottom of the curry houses in town for years. Meals lack fresh herbs and spices. Sauce thin. No depth of flavours. Leaves you very dissatisfied.
