A wonderful Cambridge brand. Great coffee and selection of things to eat. This location is bustling and can be a hard place to get a seat at. Be prepared to wait. It’s worth it. We also get take away and walk to the mill pond and eat outside. There’s also another shop in another part of Cambridge. They also to gift boxes, which make for s great gift 🎁

Another fabulous brekkie at Fitzbillies Trumpington this time. Their Chelsea Buns are legendary in Cambridge and for very good reason. They are truly delicious and the sticky syrup that they pour all over them is divine. Add a Hot Chocolate and the lovely cafe vibes and you have yourself a great start to any relaxed Sunday!

I had heard a lot about their Chelsea buns but honestly I thought it was a disappointment. For the price it was totally not worth it.The staff was friendly overall but they refused to warm the bun for me which made it taste more cold and sticky.I will likely not be visiting them again due to their below par service.

Nice place for a coffee. Service is usually delayed. We get coffee and then 10 min later the cake piece. Prices are high, but that’s what you expect in Cambridge centre cafes. Size of buns is shrinking over the time. Overall it’s ok experience.

We had the French toast special. Very nice. Good hot choclate and pot of tea too.

The place is really nice!! We ordered tea, a Chelsea bun and a chocolate cake and everything was amazing!!

Absolutely delightful! So quaint and cute! Visited the shop which had a good selection of pastries and gifts! Purchased a few items and a gift box and am very impressed with them! The Chelsea Buns are also so delicious! Then, popped to the café next door for a coffee which was great too! Highly recommend!

The vegan breakfast doesn’t look impressive but it’s excellent. The vegan sausage is particularly good. Everyone else enjoyed their breakfast as well but the two vegans at the table were impressed. Excellent cappuccino as well… and regarding treats / pastries, here’s our opinions (all 4 people agreed). the large macaroon is as good as any we’ve had in France, the chocolate florentines are excellent, but the lemon cranberry and the date square are not worth it.

Fitzbillies’ Chelsea bun is certainly very tasty, akin to a cinnamon bun but without the spice. Sweet and doughy, it’s definitely worth a try. Coffee was high quality too (Caravan coffee) and loose leaf tea. A good place for lunch as well as drinks, but be sure to make a reservation at their busier times.

We came here for some beverages in the afternoon around 3PM. It was quite busy, so service was a little slow. However, the staff was friendly. I got a mocha, which had a very strong flavour. Not sure if it was just very dark chocolate or strong coffee, but it left a bitter note lingering in my mouth. Can’t say it was my favourite mocha. MIL enjoyed the clementine cranberry slice with her tea. Everything was a bit pricey.
