Golden Buddha in Cambridge

Placed an order online late Christmas Eve, weren’t many options in the area. Drove past a Sri lanken street food van on the way and wished I had seen it first before paying online with my card as looked way better! Having read a few previous reviews a lot of people are saying the food is too salty and I have to agree all I could taste was salt. Pretty much the worst Chinese I have eaten in a long while as usually do my homework before going but this was a rush job after a cinema trip. Disappointed 👎

Egg fried rice tasted like it had been boiled in soy, too salty to eat. Thai chicken curry, salty green water on chicken, too salty to eat. Dumpling, gristley and dense. Poor. Never going back.

Used to enjoy going here but lately the food isn't as good as it used to be. Treated the family to a takeaway but the Chinese part of the order did not taste nice or rice the egg friend rice tasted like it had been cooked in a pot with the flavour of the last dish in the pot

My significant other and I had just come back from a glorious quest. We were slaying dragons in Bolton and needed a nice and filling meal to replenish and rejuvenate us - we knew the dragon forces were closing in on Cambridge and we did not have much time. We collected from Golden Buddha and found that they were right on time. The food was very filling and tasty - exactly what you need for dragon slaying. Have recommended to the rest of the clan.

If I could give minus stars I would, TERRIBLE service, 2 hours 20 waiting for food, and I thought the 1 hour 30mins just eat said the wait would be was bad. Only a 2 in food hygiene rating too...Wish I’d read the other reviews. Can’t comment on the food as called for about the tenth time chasing and got a refund.

Have just collected a meal from here live 1 mile down the road got home and we had to throw all of the meals purchased in the bin as they were stone cold. If I could I would have given this minus stars very bad customer service we will not be returning ever again.

Ridiculous service,ordered,waited 2 and a half hours,called multiple times and eventually said if your not here in 10 mins I want a refund,didn't show so demanded a refund then after all that they tried to deliver the food, discovered all the bad reviews afterwards and a 2 out of 5 hygiene rating

From previously working here and realising they never do a deep clean or pull the appliances out to clean for around 1 year which i might add, highly put me off the food not to mention a customer asking for vegetarian soup and they gave them chicken apparently not knowing it was meat...i would avoid this place at all costs!!They would rather let me go than give me a fresh pack of bacon to cook, they wanted me to cook metallic bacon and serve it to a customer which i refused to do, i really dont know how they are still open

Rubbish have been here a few times and safe to say. I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN! Ordered my food at 8:40. Called a couple of times asking where my delivery was. Finally at 9:45 was told was on its was and will be here in 10mins. Called back at 10:30 as still no sign, to be told sorry delivery driver couldn't find your house!! No apology. Plus food tastes like it was cooked in old oil

I go here very often and I think the staff members are extremely nice!The food is amazing here.Many people might say that the rice is stuck together or whatever, but that is how Chinese people eat their food, with chopsticks. They need the rice to be stuck together.If you want more rice they will give with no charge, btwAnd very cheap according to the portions.
