Golden Hind in Cambridge

Solid enough pub with a decent selection of mostly more common beers and lagers. Food is pretty good. Reasonably priced and good for sport

Mixed review. Beautiful pub - great space and entertainment. Super friendly and caring staff. Very busy night & our large booking didn't seem to come through on their end - I'll assume a technical issue. Ordered a Guinness- a favourite of mine. Was off & they kindly poured me a new one when asked, which was more drinkable. Waited an hour and a half for food, everyone else was really happy with theirs when they got it! Mine was a pie but hard to bite into & I'm really sorry but I've had better (and really good!!) mushroom pies from the grocery store. I was hoping it would be on par with Cambridge Blue Pub pies but...it was just shy of Wetherspoon's. Fries were good, they just ran out of chips so I got fries instead but they were tasty. I'd like to try this place again with hopes they just need more staff & I'll have to snoop around and see whats best to order for food at a greene king pub. If any better, I'll be sure to change my rating :-) But I will be sticking to ales/IPA's here for now...and will try ordering something else for food. I'm all for giving 5 stars when good service, food & drink!

Staff is friendly, food is average. Beautiful location.

This pub is very cool inside. It offers a bunch of leisure activities besides just watching football. Menu is as expected if you’ve been to a greene king before. Vibe is overall cosy.

Large friendly local pub that does decent value food. Helpful staff serving a very well kept decent selection of real ales, craft beers and everything else.Nice in the summer as it has ample outside seating.

Great location, staff are very friendly, food was amazing and served with a smile. Our waitress made sure we was happy throughout our visit. The areas was clean and tidy. Happy environment. I will definitely be back!

Lovely friendly place to eat, Lou served us and she was very welcoming and cheerful. If it's for a quiet lunch, full meal, a few drinks whilst watching sport or just to chill I would most certainly recommend this place.

Great place for the football (especially Liverpool fans) and for all other sports too. Food is always good, staff and regulars are always friendly. Would definitely recommend stopping by any time you are in the area.

My friend and I had booked to have our Christmas meal with pudding for this evening. It was absolutely lovely. They had especially set a table for us next to their Christmas tree. We had a lovely young lady wait on us. The food was amazing, there was plenty of it and it was so reasonably priced. Well worth the money. I would certainly recommend booking to have your Christmas Dinner there. Well done all the staff at the Golden Hind for making our evening so special.
