KFC in Cambridge

I have been to KFC on two occasions as I was very hungry during my supper break and needed something to eat quickly. On the first occasion, I had to wait 20 minutes for the food as the computer stopped working. To my surprise a girl working in the desk changed my order at her own whim. Although I was feeling ripped off and was panicking about returning to my workplace, I ended up paying £27 for the bucket of food, which I thought would cheer up my colleagues and get me off the hook for being late. Unfortunately the chicken was not cooked well and the meat was red and bloody at the bone. I let it go, it was my pay day, I could afford to treat my colleagues and we decided to throw the bucket of chicken in the bin. I went there again this Saturday, forever the optimist and I asked if the order could include some chicken breasts in the 10 piece family bucket that I was buying for myself and colleagues. The manager who was wearing a dirty looking woolly hat looked very disgruntled and told me very sharply that I could not have chicken breasts. Once again, I was served by the same girl that ripped me off a couple of weeks ago again. This time she gave me everything that I DID NOT ask for. The best part of the bucket was 2 chicken wings, 1 drumstick and 1 chicken breast and everything else was full of bones. Having paid £15.99, I received a bucket of greasy chicken with loads of bones and 3 small boxes of chips. No drinks and no sides, I was truly disgusted. I told my friends and colleagues about my experience and we gave the KFC chicken to our very greedy dog who turned his nose up after the second bite and walked away when we offered him more chicken. I am truly dissatisfied and would not recommend this place. I think people go there because there really is no other competition in Cambridge. KFC is very delicious when cooked well and when the service is efficient and the staff are polite. Unfortunately, this was not my experience at this dirty little outlet. I have been to KFC in other cities and my experiences have been completely different and puts the Cambridge KFC to shame. If I hadn't liked KFC and decided to give this place a second chance, I would not be writing this review. It's just that I am hugely disappointed and will not choose to go to this outlet again. I sincerely, do not recommend, the food is disgusting and the staff are not clean and worst of all, there is POOR SERVICE and POOR ATTITUDE.

Half an hour to get some hot wings.No priority to the customers in the shop - only to the Deliveroo/Just Eat takeaway orders. Took 15 minutes to get served (in a short queue) and a further 15 minutes to get a simple order. All the staff were very busy but dealing mainly with orders for delivery. In the time I was there, approximately 6 delivery drivers turned up to collect an order and not one waited more than a minute or so. If you can get delivery in your area - do that. Don't go to this store...

Have ordered from them a couple of times, food seemed pretty good although it was never super warm. But that might just be because I live quite a long way away. Prices are pretty high for the amount of food you get though.

Disgustingly dirtyPlace was dirty 4 dirty tables out of 7 which I had to ask to be cleaned.. staff not wearing masks, plus chewing gum under the chairs. Was to stunned to confront the manager.I am now awaiting a reply from the manager from Kentucky Fried Chicken Cambridge, another point is there are numerous complaints on here concerning the cleaniness of this establishment, and I cannot understand how this place is still open. I tend to go back there later this year and if the place has not improved I intend to sue that shop.

Disgusting cold food I ordered zinger burger meal and what a disappointment, food doesn’t look anything like they advertised on menu board. Tiny fillet in the burger. Absolutely avoid and go to an independent place where food is served freshly cooked.

This has to be one of the worst KFCs I’ve been to. The order was incorrect, and the food wasn’t edible. The chicken was beyond dry and the fries were literally stone cold and very tough. Half the sides wasn’t available and the wrong burger was given. The staff wasn’t interested at all and it was shocking how many mistakes they was making on the simplest of orders ahead of me.

Wow! Not sure what's changed but it's for the better. New manager? New staff? Who knows , but it's the best we have had from here in about 2 years.The chips are now in a box so slightly more for your money. The chicken (yes I know its fried) was a lot less grease, and fresh!We had a 10 piece bucket between me and my two kids.My Fiancée had the wrap meal and said it and the rice were great.Keep it up please KFC!P.s apologies the pic is only a few pieces but we were so hungry before I thought you deserved a great review. 👍

Lottttts of people. I think it was because of the time I visited. I would say, this particular KFC feels really stuffy. They packed up all the extra chairs and tables at the back where customers can see. The food was definitely good. Just would recommend going home to enjoy rather than dining in

Completely rubbish.Two orders delivery - both times wrong stuff inside. Correct receipt provided but the order inside totally wrong.The stuff provided is nothing like the order so I am now well over £40 because of the useless moronic incompetence of the people working at Cambridge KFC.How hard can it be to read an order and get the right stuff? Are they illiterate?They do not pick up the phone - tried for hours. Complete dereliction of customer service. Contemptible practice. Hope they get sacked or their franchise removed. They deserve nothing.If you like KFC never use Cambridge KFC. It will put you off. Disgusting.

We were given the wrong food and it was cold. This restaurant fails to serve customers expediently, with the correct food every time. Staff seem to run around like headless chickens and they have run out of cups with lids so you cannot take drinks away effectively without spilling them. Kentucky fried chicken should certainly look at a better location and start again as this restaurant has always been FAR too small.
