Had an awful experience at McDonald's today. My partner and I (both Asian) went for an afternoon snack and a group of (six) rowdy teenagers (all white and male) sat one table behind us. They were loud and kept throwing spitballs at an Asian customer who was ordering from the kiosk for quite a long time, then proceeded to throw spitballs at our direction, and I was hit by one of them. At first I glared, hoping that would stop them. When that didn't work and they continued, my partner verbally warned them to stop, to which they responded by loudly sneering, laughing, and mocking us. We continued to warn them that we would take their picture for evidence and call the police if they don't stop but they continued and my partner held up his phone. This is when one of them physically attacked my partner first, knocking his phone out of his hand to the floor and breaking the screen. My partner responded in self defence and there was some physical confrontation and some slurs. The manager only arrived then, and the teenagers left the building while we stayed inside, waiting for the police to come and settle things. But the teenagers did not seem to take the police seriously either based on the grounds they were four female officers. One of the employees apologised, saying it's not the first time these teenagers have caused problems and a different customer had called the police to complain about them just the other day. But another employee brushed us off, saying they are just kids so we should not have reacted, even if they attacked us first. I wonder if he would have said the same thing about the incident last year at Coop on Mill Road where an Asian guy was beaten up by a group of teenagers and had to go through surgery. Ill-mannered and bigoted customers like these teenagers who harass other customers should not be allowed and employees should be more vigilant and sensitive to how these events often occur on the basis of racial and gender identity- could and would these teenagers have done the same thing if we were white, larger, and looked intimidating? Are we supposed to keep still and not do anything, just be harassed, spat on, and beaten up? Attached are photos of some spitballs from the scene and the broken phone screen. I don't think we will be returning to McDonald's.

The fast food preparation came out, was bit poor, the entrance open were late, nearly an hour late, (there was no time scheduled on the window saying what time it open). It needed to display time table on the window as soon as possible, ASAP!

Waited 30 mins, when not busy, and it was only when I got home that I realised none of the sources I paid for were in the bag. Worst of all I can see no online option to request for a refund.

Self service machines are nice. I was served very quickly after ordering when I was in there. It looks deceivingly small from the outside but is actually pretty big, plenty of seating. Only complaint would be there are no windows upstairs and the music is quite loud so it feels a bit echoey and claustrophobic. But you can always take away, so id say its pretty good as McDonalds go.

Wow. I'm guessing if someone visited from McDonald's corporation there would be some spankings unleashed. Most of the touch screens not working or printing receipts, the screens off for collection (I had to remember the number - lucky I caught it when it flashed up on the touch screen). Tables dried in rainforest. Takeaway only so everyone is eating at tables with brown paper bags and no trays. And it's been like this for weeks possibly months.

First time I have been to Cambridge City centre in years. Took my two gorgeous grandchildren on the bus (much easier than driving and cost of parking). Went to McDonald's. Wow was it busy but a fantastic atmosphere. Struggled a wee bit with the ordering as not very good at these machines. But once ordered the food arrived in a nice amount of waiting time. Food cooked lovely and we all had a wonderful time and fun. Will come again to this McDonalds.

Cold soggy unsalted fries, watery drinks and a general disappointment. May have been a busy Saturday afternoon but that is usual for a place like this, so they should be able to cope - clearly they couldn’t. Place was filthy too.Not good. Far better places nearby to go.

They should have placed some sanitizers on the entrance. Even though this is a food chain there is not a single sanitizer in there. Also, I dont know whether they are cost cutting or what, there is not a single sauce and tissue is available. If you need any you need to go to counter to have some. This is not a good service at all.

It didn’t take that long to collect my orders and seats were clean. The quality of burgers are amazing considering the prices. Definitely recommend to add extra Bigmac sauce if you are ordering Bigmac which is my favourite. Quarter pounder with cheese was fine too. Fries were not soggy and still crispy with some salt. Nuggets were cold and soggy and didn’t taste like chicken at all which is quite disappointing. My go to menu would be Bigmac and Quarter pounder.
