Nando's in Cambridge

We walked in to be greeted by the most casual careless server on the planet.His trousers rolled up walking with swagger, threw the menus on the table. The place was dead practically empty.When we ordered I asked for extra sauce on my liver,not too much to ask.When our food arrived it was dry,dryer than the Sahara desert. So I asked the chap again that I did ask for extra sauce. He said il take it back which he did ,and came back with it,they basically poured the ready made stuff on top and bought it out.Not only was my food not satisfactory(I don’t expect it to be Michelin standard) but the service was like I’d walked in a gangster’s cafe it the bronx.

Noticed that there was a security guard outside. Why does Nando’s need security? In case someone tries to run away with their chicken?Regardless, the overall level of fitness this guard seemed to have would suggest that he won’t be running very far or for very long.

The environment of the restaurant is fine. The food was tasty. However the waiting time was a bit longer for the order. Staff is friendly.

I dined here on my own as away from work.Venue is decent and well presented. You have to pay for parking it’s a £1 for an hour.The team leader/ manager really needs to speak with the staff about their appearance and bearing as the staff are in very scruffy cargo pants and jeans, itching their hair and hanging over the olives and cakes which wait on the counter for far too long.Food- so much oil in the olives dish, garlic bread felt stale and chicken portions were the smallest I’ve experienced.Monica- doing her best to keep a nice venue clean and presentable, a hard worker it appears but with the unenthused staff she’s got a job on her handsGoncalo- unbelievable customer service skills and drinking his drink when interacting with customers, acting unprofessional and tired of his job. Really not Great.Would not revisit.

As always, great speedy service/food served. Went with the fully vegan options and was pleasantly surprised. Flavours were indentical (which i guess is to be expected) and texture wasn't far off at all! Definitely a good option if you're trying to cut down meat and dairy...

Mixed review as I have no complaints regarding the food but the service and staff left a lot to be desired. I know as a sixty year old couple we are perhaps not the usual customer profile and I am disabled. We were shown our table when we got to the restaurant and then I believe we became invisible. No help or explanation as to how we should proceed with the process just dumped at the table with a menu. After about 10 minutes we asked other customers what we had to do i think without them we would have just left. As I said such a shame as the food was really good but the service totally rubbish.

I eat a lot of Nando’s, and this one gave us one of the best experiences I’ve had.The staff were so attentive and friendly. They constantly walked around and checked that all tables were being adequately served or cleared down. The food was beautifully flavoured, chicken was juicy and perfect. I literally always order the same meal whichever Nando’s I go to so this is definitely something.Going to come back more often!!

Worst experience ever.We came in at 10:00pm and asked if they were still serving food to which they said they were. They took 20 minutes to find our tableThe employees were very childish like and there was too many of them. Majority wernt wearing uniforms and were generally just chatting and laughing in a big group around our tablehalf way through our meal they said they had to kick us out because they were closing at 10:30 even though they had just given us our food, no sign of a refund we just had to scoff our food down as the employees stared at us which made my partner cry. Very uncomfortable experience, do not recommend, there's far better nando branches in Cambridge

Delicious fresh cooked chicken with various sauces and spice levels to choose from. Chicken and sides are cooked with the right amount of flavors. They have bottomless peach tea option.
