I found was I was looking for. Not only that but the girl there was kind enough to send me a picture of the item before I drive there! Great selection of foods and ingredients. Highly recommend it!If you believe this review has been helpful for you, please don’t forget to press the 👍 button. Thank you.

The best place I know in Cambridge for foods and brands you usually won't find in the supermarket. Always reasonably priced, and they serve some great hot snacks as well: samosas, onion bhajis, and pasties. I'll be back.

The quality of the meat here far exceeds the other halal butchers in Cambridge. There is no smell to the meat and the marinated selection of meats is freshly prepared in store and very tasty. The butcher is incredibly helpful and friendly. There is wide selection of Asian, middle eastern goods and the shelves are always fully stocked. Lovely friendly staff who are always on hand for queries. There is also a frozen section of meals that are freshly prepared in store that I discovered recently which rivals many of the local takeaways.

Halal meat looks very good. It's not juicy and more expensive than Iqbro though. They also have ready made halal food boxes.Best of all, I found Pakistani Mangoes ❤️ here. The variety available is Sindhri and it's exciting eating best mangoes in the world finally in UK.

Independent grocery with a decent selection of international products. As one of the few grocers in Cambridge to stock many southwest Asian products, this a good stop for some internationally minded home chefs, though I expect the indented clientele are homesick international students. Also includes fresh bakery and butcher

Service was good but there were products with no prices on the shelves or the frozen food. If you get this any where challenge the price they give you. Invariably the bar code price will be cheaper as I found. But the service was good

This is a fabulous mini-supermarket. I've been going here for years and it's as good now as always - probably even better. The frozen curries are a great alternative to a takeaway and great to keep in the freezer as a backup meal when you don't have time to cook.I'm also a huge fan of all the types of bread, pasta, spices, spreads, fresh Asian foods such as pakoras and sanosas and newly-arrived artisan patisserie.Always worth a trip.

Shameful, rude and unprofessional behaviour and customer service. My wife visited Midan market in Cambridge on Sunday afternoon for shopping. Once she finished her shopping, she paid 23£ but as she collected the bags, she dropped one and as a result a big tomato juice glass bottle broke down. My wife requested some help from one of the personnel and he responded giving her another bag to put the glasses in saying “I cannot help you” and obliged her to leave shop with the plastic bag with the broken glasses on her hands. Exactly that!!!He neither helped her to clean the bag nor offered her a replacement (not free of charge of course as the items had been already paid). The most important is that he did not help her to remove the broken glasses from the bag with a potential risk of severe injury and bleeding.Furthermore, when I expressed my discontent of this customer service and asked for his name because I wanted to refer the incidence to the shop owner, he was also rude and answered “do whatever you want”. In addition, he never told me his name. This is an unacceptable, shameful and non-professional behaviour. This is the first time we witness that as almost all other markets staff are exceptional and helpful. Although it was not the first time we visited Midan, it is definitely the last one. We ended up home with broken glass and tomato juice in a plastic bag … what more to say.

The folks who work here are unfailingly helpful, kind & charming. That manage to maintain good stocks of all essentials, & a delightful selection of really interesting foods & spices. Having a butchery in the shop is really helpful, & they cook their own (delicious) samosas on-site I love shopping here.
