Food was good. Whilst I was there, the owner or manager came in and started shouting at the staff. The staff were great but I won't go back because of how the manager made the whole restaurant uncomfortable

Worse Chinese food and service I’ve had in my entire life? Vegetable was black, not sure if it’s dirt or charred. Clearly hygiene issues. Do not come if you want to be asked to pay cash.We arrive at 1.30pm on Sunday and waited 15 minutes to be seated. After we order our food we asked for tap water. They brought tap water without cups. We asked for cups, and some cutleries. The food arrives without cutleries. We reminded them gently about cutleries and cups, then the cutleries came without the cups! My partner waited for 7 minutes before he was given spoons for his noodle soup.We tried to get the attention of the owner but they were simply too busy. She almost reprimanded the Indian staff infront of us as well, after we finished the food which practically no services. We kindly asked for glasses for the tap water. The glasses came along with the bill, but the server didn’t serve the water to us but left. I then asked for the bill and kindly requested for the service charge to be removed, but the lady refused. She said “since you dined in you must pay the service charge” instead of asking what went wrong, she demanded this. Worse part is that she said she can remove the service charge if we pay by cash. That’s a fraudulent transaction!!We didn’t want trouble with them so we paid the service and left. Never again!

Me and my partner came here and were very impressed with it. We asked for the food to be extra spicy as we find most restaurants dampen down the spice to accommodate local taste. Would highly recommend if you are after authentic asian food (but ask for extra spicy )

The rice was dry, the portions were not satisfying. We ordered drinks with the meal but they didn't bring it. Plates and table were dirty. Handmade noodle meat soup was good.

This is a Chinese rest located in Cambridge. The restaurant set up is simple. Both noodles and rice dishes are available here. Some side dishes are also available. The handmade noodles are recommended.Cleanliness is good.Service is reasonable. Waiting time is reasonable too.Prices are reasonable. Both cash and cards are accepted.Patrons on wheelchairs can patronize this restaurant easily.

I decided to drop in and eat at North China Dumpling after walking past the window and noticing a guy inside weighing out flour and other ingredients into a giant mixing bowl. I figured, if they're making hand made nodules then it was a place I should check out. The service was prompt, tables were well distanced and prices very good. Expdct to pay £10 for a meaty main dish including rice/noodles and £6-8 for 12 handmade dumplings (available steamed or fried.... My server suggested the fried ones were her preferred choice as she thought they were delicious). I had the triple meat with fried rice which consisted of a choice of 4 different meat from which you choose 3 (I choose roast duck, roast chicken and Crispy roast pork). All are served sliced on top of the rice. The duck was nice, the chicken a little bony for my liking and the Crispy pork... Sublime. Super Crispy crackling on top of juicy pork, all cut into little neat, bite-sized portions. I'm eager to visit again and will be ordering the crispy pork again but next time will have to try some fried prawn dumplings too.

Walked by this restaurant today with my family and we decided to stop and have our dinner here. We ordered a selection of dishes and they were all great. The bbq trio was fantastic. All portions were very generous, served nice and hot and freshly cooked. The BBQ trio was fantastic; pork dumplings were delicious; Singapore noodles were tasty and gently spicy; and the beef and noodles were very enjoyable.Service was very friendly and attentive. We hope to return when we are in Cambridge again.

Hosted a birthday party here for approx 13 people. The food and service was authentic and phenomenal. Everyone was very happy and very satisfied! If there was only one Chinese restaurant I would recommend in Cambridge, it would be this one. Will definitely be coming back many many more times.

Amazing authentic dumplings and hand-pulled noodles! Hard pressed to find any place better in Cambridge! (Not to mention, the price is very reasonable too). The service is great and the head chef is very friendly. Will be eager to return soon to try out more of their dishes.
