Pipasha. The food was amazing there nothing to say bad about here. Such a beautiful atmosphere inside the restaurant. Their Service was outstanding. All the staffs was polite and very friendly. One of the most wonderful restaurant in Cambridge, even in the taste of their food or their dinning service.I have ordered one chilli garlic nan, chapati, Grilled chicken, Shakooti Chicken. Everything was delicious. For the Shakooti Chicken recipe was very tasty

Four of us had a really great meal at Pipasha last evening. Tasty, quite different Indian food, served by a friendly chatty guy. Made the whole experience very enjoyable. Parking behind the restaurant made life easy. Highly recommended.

We came to Cambridge for a long weekend and thought we’d try this restaurant out as the reviews looked good.It was a Monday night and I called to book a table that evening, the man on the phone said we don’t take phone bookings you need to go online or you can try and walk in.I went to book online but it demanded £10 upfront per person which I thought was cheek so we decided to walk in.When we got to the restaurant we walked through the front door about 8pm but there was a food trolley blocking the door. I stood at the door and stuck my head in the restaurant, the restaurant was completely empty and there were 3 staff standing around doing nothing. I asked if we could get a table but they were quite rude and said ‘no’ because we had our toddler with us, ‘they don’t accept kids under 6 but he was asleep anyway’.We eat out on a regular basis all over the Uk and abroad and her never experienced such an evasive service by a restaurant like this and were quite shocked by the incident. We can’t comment on the food as it never got that far.

We booked a table for 8 people at pipasha and was told we needed to pay a £10 per person deposit, this would be taken off the bill at the end. The meal was ok, but abit on the expensive side. The waiter then dropped a whole bowl of rice on my shoulder (luckily the rice was dry so no harm done) he apologized and tried to turn it into a joke, he later came over with a bottle of coke and said "that is the best I can do Sorry" (I did not ask for this). But the whole reason I am writing this review is when the bill came they added £20 service charge, and only £70 of the deposit was deducted, when we asked why? they said "only 7 people turn up so they are not refunding the full deposit". They suggested, getting the £10 from our sick friend who couldn't make it that night. Seven people who spend over £250, Is this how you treat all of your customers? I dont think you will remain in business long if so.

Great friendly and helpful service. Very tasty food. Good selection of dishes. I had the Goan fish which was very good and a side of dish of butternut squash. Will definitely visit again.

The Pipasha family had been an extension to the East Anglian Air Ambulance crew. In those long nights, particularly at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic they would always looked after us. Now, in more 'normal' times we regularly go there. Great atmosphere, great food, great smiles. Booking in advance recommended to avoid disappointment!

Very well presented food and speedy service. There was 6 of us and Staff went above and beyond and ensured we had everything we needed even for the 2 toddlers with us.

We are here last night, and can highly recommend. Great service and food was delicious. They cooked me something off menu too which was an added bonus. Decor and layout was nice and they were very busy, for a Monday night, which says something about the quality of the food.

Really friendly staff. Their interaction with their regular customers was really impressive. The owner personally had a dish cooked for me which was not on the menu. It tasted awesome. This is a proper old school Indian restaurant which is very rare these days. They really care about their customers. Cannot recommend enough. Will definitely be visiting again.
