River Bar Steakhouse & Grill in Cambridge

One of the best meals we've had anywhere. The food was absolutely delicious and was served promptly. Service was excellent and friendly. We had a couple of cocktails but I'd love to go back and try more. The view from the window tables is of the River Cam and Magdalene College - beautiful. Our first visit of many, thank you to the River Bar team!

We went to this place for Valentine's day dinner. There were multiple areas to eat. One area had a view of the river, and the other was a back room. We sat in the back room, but even though there was no view, the decor was trendy and aesthetic. The set menu had plenty of options (some set menus don't have many options). We had a hard time choosing. In the end, our waiter was so helpful to give us his suggestions on food and wine pairing. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, and made our night enjoyable. We even got a welcome drink (on the house) for Valentine's day. I would definitely come back to try their main menu.

The atmosphere was pleasant and warm. The customer service of the team were attentive and friendly, it was very enduring when they brought out a special cake for our anniversary! They put so much effort in making the night special!

We went last night for a very special occasion and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Very attentive and super friendly. The menu had something for everyone. The food quality was excellent and served in good time. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion if you wanted to spend a little bit more. You definitely get what you pay for - which I'm happy to do 😁👌 thanks for everything x

Absolutely delicious! And the owner and host were super nice and friendly. Our waitress was a little hard to understand but had amazing service and was on top of it when we needed things. The food was beautifully cooked, seasoned, and prepared! Definitely recommend!

I loved where it was located with it being right next to the river and the place gives off a really fun vibe you can go to with friends and family. The drinks are also refillable (especially for alcohol) so you can drink to your fill. The food was good but it wasn't the best, thought it was slightly dry though I wasn't expecting the best. It was still a really good experience overall and would definitely recommend going to during breakfast and brunch hours if you don't like it to be too busy.

So my last review was deleted. Which means instead of 2 stars, giving it one. Poor food, steak sent back, they don't know how to cook Mac and cheese. Avoid.

Best meal we’ve had in Cambridge. Was celebrating son’s birthday a few weeks ago and they made sure to make it special. Food was amazing and the staff couldn’t have been anymore welcoming. Highly recommend the lobster mac and cheese. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really loved this place. The location is amazing and I particularly recommend the top floor for an intimate experience with a partner/lover/special one. Menu offers a wide range of food and the Lobster was an orgasm of taste! Staff is really caring and welcoming, happy to give a smile, suggestions and spend two minutes for a chat.
