This is why they call it soul food , it's not just to "fill your belly" . The rich flavours smell and taste fills up your sences and drags a warm sunshine smile from your heart.Expect great service with a smile. I walked in read menue had a nice chat and went home put on some Beres Hammond vibes as enjoyed; Fry plantains , Curried Goat and dumpling and went back next day for oxtail and peas and rice. Every dish hit the spot ..... its ALL GOOD !!! 😇

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING delicious food, I could eat from here everyday 🙏 affordable too considering there isn't much caribbean cookings in Cambridge!! 10000% recommend, also the staff is lovely, big love ❤️‍🔥

Highly recommend this cafe if you're anywhere near the area. Amazing food and coffee, and the kindest staff, they make everyone feel so welcome. Will definitely return soon!

They will have you thinking this is what carribean food taste like unless you've had some good food carribean food some where else. Asked for jerkwrap and it tasted like brown stew and not a good one at that. Visiting from London and was very very disappointed I spent my money for it taste so bad. Two bites and it was in the bin

Just moved to Cambridge with my Jamaican husband. Normally cook home made but after moving we really didn't feel like cooking, and I can honestly say absolutely amazing food! Was bursting with flavour, delivery was super quick and all very reasonably priced! Our new favourite take away, will 100% be returning!! I stumbled across Rock of Virtue today when I was on a mad crave for Stew (had been wanting a stew since I moved out my parents). I ordered the STEW CHICKEN and Jerk Chicken Dumpling.Firstly, the delivery time was so quick and came before the expected delivery time. Secondly, the dumpling was so full of flavour and richness that I wished I had slowed down and savoured every bite I took. Thirdly, the stew came not mixed ( rice and stew was in separate containers) which I love as I can be somewhat picky. The rice was so good and cooked perfectly. Lastly, the stew. Oh my goodness, I loved that stew. I had hoped to make it last two days but ate it all up it was that good!I definitely will be coming here again! Absolutely amazing.

Stopped in over lunch this week & I am so glad I did! Food & service were both amazing. I had the oxtail with rice & peas!

Won’t be coming again, was worst Jamaican I have ever had. Rice & peas seemed microwaved & had no. Flavour, jerk chicken was just sitting in a gravy of bbq sauce, curry goat was more like a stew, very watered down.The only positive I can say is the customer service was really good & it’s just a shame the food didn’t match. I hope they review the recipes as Cambridge has no yard food.
