Smokeworks Ltd in Cambridge

Have eaten at this institution a few times. As an American studying abroad, it is comforting to be able to grab some really solid American BBQ even here in Cambridge.The works platter is a great way to get a bunch of options to share. The sandwiches and hot dogs are also quite tasty. For me the chicken wings were the absolute star of the show. They're crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and well-seasoned; the selection of great sauces to pair them with also helps. Some nearby institutions that have absolutely garbage wings (cough cough Honest Burger) could learn a thing or two from Smokeworks. I'm also a fan of the slaw and milkshakes here. There's really so many awesome options here which make it a great place to keep going back to.Also a fan of the technology they have going to get the waiters' attention. The service was friendly everytime I've gone. This is no doubt one of my favorite restaurants in all of Cambridge!

What a feast! This is a must for meat lovers when in Cambridge. Amazing service and food to match. The combo for one is just perfect, perfect ribs, perfect wings, amazing corn and you can add loaded chips to it as well. We’re non drinkers and were happy to find few non alcoholic beers to choose from, including one of our favourites, Ghost Ship. Milkshakes are fantastic as well. They are a must, perfect for after the meal as well. Wish we had one down here in Brighton

Very friendly and attentive staff and delicious food. An extensive gluten-free menu which is always good to see. Background music is a good selection of classics.

Good food, good value, but AMAZING staff. We were greeted before we even made it through the door, seated swiftly, and looked after by multiple waiting staff, all of who were polite and upbeat. Onion rings we hadn't ordered made it onto our table, and we were given these for free. Waitress picked up on me wanting some of my partner's coleslaw, so she put in a request to the kitchen for an extra large portion - and the chef even came out to check we wanted extra. We were encouraged (in a non-spammy way) to sign up to the loyalty scheme app as it saved us £10 on that day. Just fantastic - we had a great time and it was largely down to the fab staff.

Had a lovely experience yesterday, I was welcomed very nicely by a lovely lady. We had lovely beer and amazing food that I would rate very highly. The lady also gave us some information to help us on our way and gave us directions for a great walk that ended with a very nice coffee and Belgian bun.

Proper great food! Has a brilliant choice of drinks too, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Got great food in a good time and a few drinks. Really recommend!

Great place with a nice selection of BBQs and sides. You have a button on your table to call the waiter when you need him or her which is super easy for both sides. The ribs weren't amazing hence the 4 stars but definelty recommend coming here as everything else was great

Excellent food, great music and environment. I would totally go back. Amazing experience! We had The works on the menu for two. Everything was cooked perfectly, even the honey mustard was amazing.

Good service, tasty house lager, fries and ribs were also decent.The salad, however, was a different story. At a steep £4.25 we expected something a bit more substantial than a little bowl of leaves (see photo).Overall, would’ve given it a 3.5 if possible but felt the service nudged me to giving a 4!

Amazing food and friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond. One staff member could see our little ones were becoming restless, so she took them on a "guided tour" of the downstairs seating area and took the time to show them how the lights work when a table is ready to orderThe food was excellent, the restaurant was clean and the music was pretty awesome too!Will definitely be back when we're in the area again
