Tandoori Palace in Cambridge

My friend had a table booked and had to pay a deposit, two people cancelled two hours before, not his fault, they kept the deposit and blamed him, absolutely appalling. The rice was dry and the garlic naan was weirdly sweet when I've never had a sweet garlic naan before, but the meat and sauce I had was lovely, price was okay I guess and poppadoms were nice, staff were pretty grumpy and rude except for one guy who was a laugh

Excellent quality food with efficient staff. Reasonable prices.

Best Indian takeaway by far. Nothing to moan about for ten years. Very good prices too. Can sometimes be slow for a sit down as it very busy at times.

Had a meal here last night, booked in for 16 at 6:30 o’clock.The staff and the food were Amazing.First class!!Was my first time here, i totally love it.My friends come all the time, they love the place.I highly recommend a visit.

I booked a table for 16 of us. 12.30 on Sunday 23rd February. 4 of us arrived at 12.20. As the restaurant opened from 12 till 2 we were not concerned. The man cleaning the floor told us to go away and come back in 15 minutes as they were not open yet. We went for a walk in the lovely cold windy winter weather. Got back 12.30pm. No booking apparently.!!!! Did we want to eat. With 16 of us not so easy to go elsewhere. He reluctantly gave us two tables. We moved them together ourselves. Got drinks half an hour after we ordered them. Have never been, 'served' in such a miserable way. Everything was too much effort. Nobody else came on for a meal or ordered takeaway while we were there. The food was great when we got it. Which was the only plus.It was my husband's 60th birthday. His dad passed away recently and we always had family meals here on many occasions over the last 25+ years. It was his favourite place for a meal. Will be a long time now before we go back.

There was a long 2 hour wait for our food and the dips and sauces they put on table to go with the poppadoms once you have finished with them they take them and swirl them around a bit with the spoons that they came with and then they get taken to another table for someone else. They also drank out of the water bottles that they fill up our jug with for our table. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Everything is super delicious, however I asked not to put onions in my rice and there still was some.. apart from this everything was spot on

Friendly staff and a good selection of gluten free menu items. The food was tasty, although did not look the most authentic - but for the price it is hard to complain. Would recommend for anyone looking for a cheap Indian in Cambridge!
