Very good food bit of a wait as was very busy but worth it the battered fish was amazing

A bit busy but welcoming and friendly. Food and beer was excellent.

We love coming to this pub for their pub quiz night! It is a very difficult pub quiz, but it's great fun with a group of friends. Be sure to get there at least an hour early to snag a table. They do serve dinner, so you can easily get dinner and then wait for the pub quiz.

This is a classic kind of pub, plenty busy on a Friday night. Very nice fish finger sandwich and Sausage and mash

Lovely staff, good student atmosphere and great for watching live sporting events. Only drawback was the taste of the food which seemed to be frozen, due to bland taste. Other than that, would recommend

Nice atmosphere. Quite busy but food was a bit of a disappointment.Ordered sausage and mash which was tasteless and not worth the money.

Good place to watch the rugby. Stays open till 12 which is very convenient. Is a bit of an alcoholics pub when there is no sport on but very good atmosphere 90% of the time.

The fish and chips are generous and delicious! Great beer and cider selection. Excellent spot for rugby. Fills up quickly so get there early.

Service was great. Here on a Sunday, live music after 8pm (not overbearingly loud like most).Good beers, pies were decent. I had the turnip & butternut which was good even if the potatoes were too salty! Quality choice pub!
