The Architect in Cambridge

Great night out, fabulous food, great buzz about the place, very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Overall I would say its a great place, put it on your list of places to visit in Cambridge.

First visit here. Not disappointed. Everything nice and clean. Food came out quickly. Very good

Lovely place...As soon as I walked in...was welcomed with big honest smile by the bartender...Menu is simple which is unusual in restaurants this days...Food...I mean...wow...I had one of the best steak pie I ever tried...with onion gravy and some proper chips on the side...I'll definitely be back there sooner than I thought...

The best fish n chips I ever had.

Just came to pick up fish n chips. Very delicious. Tempura battered fish and the chips were just grand. Had winter peas on the side. I should’ve adjusted my day to eat inside instead of taking it home - it would’ve been so much better right out of the kitchen. Deeeeelicious

I did not get the Mayonnaise with my chips which were undercooked and under seasoned, the Onion Rings were an atrocity of no onions and they were rings of fried batter filled with old cooking oils. The bar manager was rude and did not handle the situation well. And to say we spent over £100 in that place, what a joke of service. A miserable place to go for on payday Friday night. 29.10.2021

Awesome pub with great beer selection and great service. But the very best of The Architect is it's fresh pub food in town. I had the Calamari and also the haddock with incredible freshness and taste. I really enjoyed it a lot. It also possible to taste several different beers.

Surprise, lunch menu goes until 5PM. I saw a great fish and chips dish in the table next to mine too. Trendy and elegant-industrial decor, it has a great selection of beers and ciders. My flight of 3 ciders was from good to best!

Wonderful Staff and eclectic beer selection. Not a lot of taps but varied choices and good balance of styles.The food was superb with the crispy whitebait with seadweed aioli but the smoked salmon Scotch egg was the real delight.Can't wait to return!

When I arrived at 18:00 asked for a pint and mentions that we was going to eat in a while, the staff said that one side was reserved form 18:30 and the other side from 19:00. This is just a "Fish & Chips or Pie Place" that happens to sell beers etc, with meals. The food itself was reasonably, nothing to say wish you were here. The staff was pleasant. Cost seems slightly overpriced. They do not put Reserved signs on the tables. The place is light and airy with a buzz.
