I came in for a quick lunch/dinner and I was greeted by a warm welcome from a blonde female bar staff who helped me find a seat and brought me a menu as one wasn't at the table. After this I went to the bar and a separate female bar staff I ordered with was very abrupt and rude in the way she spoke to me. I continued with my order for food and drink and after waiting nearly 30 minutes my food came. I ordered gamon and chips which I left most of as it was absolutely awful. The fat was left on the gamon and the chips looked second hand. Apart from the greeting I was welcomed by the meal was poor. I hope this is an issue that doesn't happen to often.

A very nice pub to go for lunch or dinner or, just to go for a drink. The staff is really nice and friendly. And, always with a warm welcome. I strongly recommended to go when you come to Cambridge. And, you will enjoy a relaxing drink next to the river

Always my favourite pub. I hired the upstairs function room for my birthday event and Flavio & the team were so welcoming and brought us all the food & drinks on time, sparing time for me to consult with them at an earlier date, to make arrangements for the party. Great service & still my favourite pub

This is an okay pub for a quick drink but the food the last three times we've attended has been bad.Once the nachos came out and they were just tortilla chips and grated cheese. Then my friends ordered nachos and had the same but with the sour cream and jalapeños.Yesterday we went simply for a quick pudding on the way home and after 35 minutes it came out. It was the chocolate fondant; it was cold in the middle and not very good.Today the lasagna was cold in the middle which was replaced by staff with fish and chips. Came out a tad more on the warm side but was better than the lasagna. It's a shame as the food used to be absolutely fantastic. The new menu is not great sadly. Especially as they've removed the chocolate fudge cake.

Fantastic place when the sun is out. Garden terraces are well planned and give that privacy, without being hidden away.

Beautiful outdoor seating adds to the overall covid-safe procedure in this pub.as a Greene king pub, the app works as expected. The food (steak & ale pie and the lamb shank) was decent, as expected in a Greene king. Beer selection on tap is good.

Lovely spot by the river. Service was good and ordering was really straightforward through the app. Don’t understand all the hate here.

Fantaric pub, very friendly. Loved the new system where you download the app and order good and drinks to your table. Drinks were served super fast and food came pretty quick too. Was lovely to sit in the garden next to the River. Would definately visit again
