The Box Cafe in Cambridge

One of Cambridge hidden little treasures tucked away down a side road. I had a fresh cooked breakfast, good quality sausage and bacon, good size portions. A lovely coffee and a distinct medeteranian feel about the place. Reminded me of many a holiday. Good menu choice from light bites to evening meals. A lovely selection of sweet treats for those not counting their calories. Good service, friendly smile and competitively priced. I'll certainly be back.

The Box Cafe is great, we love it here! Lovely friendly staff and great food. Always cooked fresh. They have a good range of standard ‘English’ food, this is always tasty, and there are also the Turkish speciality’s too! Our choice for lunch when we are working! 😃

Amazing Gluten Free Food.I walked in explained I was coeliac, the lady was delightful showing my all the GF cakes she had. She then offered to make up a Turkish mezze, that would be gluten free.It included aubergine and cauliflower 2 things I would normally avoid, it was delicious!I will be back. Fingers crossed GF Baklava is featuring 😋

Bit of a hidden gem it seems! I had a lovely plate of meze dishes. Close to the city centre, but tucked away off a quiet street. Owners are really friendly!

The Box Cafe is a great new find for me in Cambridge. The staff is really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They have a wide range of gluten free and vegan options and they can tailor some dishes to your dietary requirements. The food itself was absolutely delicious. I will definitely stop by again on my next trip to Cambridge.

Honestly friendly run place and very warm atmosphere !The owner looks a truly nice guy.Would probably have even more customers if was visible from the road, but that's why this tiny place is good as it is as its hidden and unique!Don't miss out if around .They serve breakfast, teas coffeesThey've got plenty of sandwiches option with different tipe of bread to choose from and salads.Only had toast this time, but exited to try some breakfast if back !Kids are welcome as plenty of toys for them and a playground.Three rooms to sit or if u will outside too.U r welcome !

Yummy food and cosy atmosphere.I had the tuna & cucumber panini, lagsane and spiced chai latte (the latter was amazing!) , Set me back only £12Felt like a home away from home, will definitely return and highly recommended

Fantastic breakfast, the Turkish breakfast was a delightful change. Very friendly service, and a child friendly environment. Definitely going again.

Always a warm and friendly welcome. So attentive. Good healthy choices. Lots of choice. Not overwhelming as well as always presented well. Down to earth nor expensive. I enjoyed my all day breakfast. Offers a good space for exhibitions. An asset to the community.
