Nice welcome from the staff & good service throughout. Had the 2 course set menu for lunch. Food was of a very high standard, good value for money. Highly recommend

Great food in a really nice setting. The feel and atmosphere of this restaurant is great. It has quite a relaxed vibe. The food was pretty good. Portions are huge, had the roast chicken - chicken was very dry and over cooked, however everything else was done very well.

SOOO tasty - perfect warm hug on a Sunday. The Sunday roast was so delicious. I feel like it was missing something though. Maybe some roasted garlic and/or stuffing? We also got the sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was probably one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The drinks were great too - would recommend their dessert cocktails.

We order the brisket as a starter and the filet as main. Both of them were amazing. Red wine sauce was nothing special so I recommend you to try something else. Overall great experience and nice staff!

We really enjoyed the chop house. Nice selection of meats from all kinds. Good service, a nice lunch menu and alcohol options as well. A good pick if you are into a steak or other meats while in Cambridge. Both the steak and the ham were great, thanks a lot🎉

Food was delicious and the staff very welcoming. Pork crackling and brie bites were a brilliant starter. I had the steak and ale pie for mains, it was so good I had eaten it before I thought about a picture. As for dessert the treacle tart was devine. I could not find a single fault from us arriving to the lovely goodbye we received as we were leaving. Thanks so much for a cracking evening.

Best Sunday Roast we’ve had in England so far, by orders of magnitude! Beef was medium rare and super tender, veg was absolutely lovely, the cask ale was fantastic.

Have not been to the Chop House for years but really enjoyed my last visit. All members of staff we came across with were very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious as usual. We opted in for a set menu and I had a mackerel salad which reminded me of Niçoise salad, with an egg, plenty of mackerel and French beans, my friend enjoyed Haggis fritters. For the main I had a ham hock which came with thick cut chips, they were crispy from the outside and fluffy inside and runny yolk duck egg, absolute perfection. Dessert was a classic Sticky toffee, I have had it many times in the past and was pleasantly surprised that the recipe hasn't changed, it is absolutely delicious, generous portion swerved with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce. We really enjoyed our meal and service from the moment we arrived and left. Thank you
