The Carpenter's Arms in Cambridge

Walked in for Sunday lunch and had an extremely generous portion of pork belly that you could just pull apart with a fork so tender. Came with a host of perfectly cooked sides as well. The kids shared a pizza which was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be going again.

Nice pub for both eating and drinking. Really enjoyed the pizzas and lasagne. Lamb kebab could have been improved with the addition of some sauce, but it was still pretty tasty. Decent pint of beer and the staff were great. Recommended.

I’ve been going to the carpenters for the last 3/4 years and it’s the only pub I ever recommend to friends and family. The food is always sensational with some fantastic Monday deals! The atmosphere is always enjoyable but the best part about this place is the staff. Mikey, Jez & Maria are always there with a smile on their face to make your experience even more pleasant. They’re always bringing smiles to peoples faces and they are definitely the highlight to it all.There’s no other pub quite like it and I’ll be continuing to go here for a long time!

Great pub with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! They are always very welcoming to our dog, too. The food is good and it's become one of my favourite spots in Cambridge.

I was able to book a table during the busy half marathon Sunday. I already knew the environment and staff were great but after last Sunday I m also able to say that food is absolutely outstanding too!! Although the kitchen was busy we didn’t have to wait too long and I had one of the best Sunday roast in the last year!

We are regulars at The Carpenters Arms, both for the pizza and 'pots'. We were there yesterday and although understaffed, as many places are these days because of covid, the chef made a special effort when I requested something vegan and made me a delicious mushroom shawarma which wasn't on the official menu for that day. There are always lots of games available to play at your table while waiting for your food, for kids and adults alike. I'd definitely recommend a visit!

We have been visiting this pub since their latest refurbishment and I have to say they have never let us down! Amazing tasty dishes with a great atmosphere! We love the style and the decor as it is different from other places. Their food is exceptional with great variety. We love their beer selection especially the ones from their Brewery. The service is just the cherry on the top. Always friendly and welcoming! Especially Maria who has taken care of our party every time we visited!If you are in the area and looking for a pint and/or food, we definitely recommend paying them a visit!

We had a lovely evening meal here in Nov 2021. The real ale was tasty and fresh and the food we ordered was well worth the price. I would go back here as the quality was good and the chefs certainly use fresh produce. The kebab and pizza although good value, were rather skimpy on meat volumes (in other words; a little meat and lots of veg). A guest ale wouldn't have hurt either. The interior was rustic and interesting and the way the food was served matched the settings. Service was excellent at all times. Overall experience was very good. I hope to return in the near future for a bite to eat and some ale. Great pub experience.

Really quirky interior... great vibe the minute you walk in! Had the most amazing GF Pizza ever... had to box half up and take it home as it was soooooo filling. Staff were friendly and helpful. A real gem....and the best bit? I've moved in just up the road !

Good portions and good service. Great vegan options 👍 Food is slightly pricey but will really fill you up so you’re getting your money’s worth. The vegan meatball pot was very rich and the meatballs although a bit tough on the outside were very delicious. Recommend getting it with some garlic bread to dip in the sauce! Also don’t get an olive starter if you’re getting this dish 😅 otherwise you’ll have olive overload
