Great traditional pub, with a great atmosphere and good selection of beers. Food looked good as it went past but we were just having a drink and didn't try it.

2nd oldest pub (but older building) in Cambridge, fantastic history with the RAF signatures on the ceiling, worth a visit for that alone. The food & atmosphere are also great. We popped in for a small late lunch, the vegan sliders are top notch. We enjoyed the food so much, we visited the next day for a full lunch. We had the full vegan burger & the steak, both excellent. Sticky toffee pudding dessert is also recommended. Good selection of drinks, good music, staff very friendly - for us, it is the place to visit when we return

Beautiful, traditional English pub great for tourists and locals alike. Famous for the DNA story and the RAF Bar. Also one of the few remaining pubs where you can get a lovely pint of draught mild.

Delicious food. Friendly staff. Busy place so food took 30 mins but they warned us before ordering. It was worth the wait.

Definitely a place to visit if you are traveling for the first time to Cambridge. The atmosphere is nice, and even though we couldn’t have the DNA beer, still others were good.Recommend their fish and chips and also the pie. Both were great👏🏼

Very, very cool place. It was crazy busy Tuesday afternoon between Christmas and New Years, but still pretty good service. Plenty of beer and food choices.

Wonderful pub with a great history. It's been known as the Eagle since 1667. Watson and Crick celebrated their discovery of DNA at the bar!Affordable for a central Cambridge pub. Not luxury food but hearty.Great beers, you can't go wrong with Green King!

Amazing pub with good food, terrific vibe and lively atmosphere. The historic significance of the RAF bar and the walls with messages bring the world war 2 era to life and surely take you back in time

Amazing and Iconic place where DNA invention took place by a couple of students and also where the RAF ( Royal Air Force) pilots used to meet. There are a good variety of beers and local ales. Highly recommend.

Really quirky venue, especially with the historical element attached to it AND the RAF memorabilia scattered throughout.Really well laid out with retro decor in most parts, with an outdoor area sandwiched between two sides of the restaurant.Although you can order at the bar, you can also do it via the app, which is great when it’s busy.Reasonably priced, great atmosphere and overall a good choice for our first venture to Cambridge.Oh, the staff were superb too, quick and very helpful throughout.(Forgive the photo angles, I tried to ensure I didn’t capture anyone in them!)
