A nice river side pub but another cashless venue under big brother surveillance. Good pint of Barsham Norfolk Topper citrus ale st 3.8%. Casta and Jorvic think the pint is micro chipped.

the kimchi chicken burger was a little dry and tasteless. the chips were above average, crispy and lightly salted

Outstanding. Me and my partner came here for a Sunday roast and have to say it was the best roast both of us have ever had. Great vegan option for my girlfriend (mushroom wellington) which was delicious. large range of all largers and a great atmosphere to top it off. staff are really friendly and perfect portion sizes. i couldn't recommend more and will be one hundred percent returning !!!

We did a little stop at Cambridge for a Sunday roast with my family whilst travelling back to london and we were lucky enough to try The Mill. The pub is really atmospheric, ideal for a little walk by the river. The food was truly exceptional. I had one of the best roasts ever! We highly recommend this place.

The Sunday roast was delicious, lots of vegetables and not overcooked. The service was really quick and the barstaff were friendly. Love the location too

Pub on the river, atmospheric. Great to see a vinyl record player knocking out the tunes. Good range of beers including Adnams. Bar meals, fish and chips burgers. Indoor seating for around 20.I would return again cosy, comfortable and good service

Every table was marked as reserved, but there were no people for two hours?Somehow they managed to fit us in anyway.It is a fantastic place to be, wonderful music playing - old British rock - and a lot is happening outside.Go there, if you can get a table. :)

Below average pub. This pub is only suitable if you want takeaway drinks to enjoy by the river. There is a weird smell inside and the tables/chairs are not comfortable. Some are broken and make noises.

✓ Vegetarian & Vegan OptionsI came here for Sunday Roast with my mum as it had good reviews and was highlighted by several articles for its Sunday Roast. However, it was a very disappointing meal. My mum had the Roast beef while I had a vegan roast. She was disappointed with her Roast beef, it was below average to her – not tasty and quite tough. The vegan roast I had was disappointing too – it was just this little tartlet of veg and nut stuffing that was very dry and a bit burnt. The Yorkshire pudding was not great either. They were generous with the trimmings, but it doesn’t make up for the small vegan roast tartlet I got.This could be a one-off experience as most reviews has been positive. However, we were the first customers of the day, and it wasn’t busy when we ordered and ate there so… there is no excuse for the poor food quality and cold service. The staff were cold and disinterested. When we walked in, we weren’t greeted by anyone. We felt so unwelcomed. I asked if they were open and the girl at the bar said yes… then continued on with her business, not bothered to welcome us or ask us anything else. So, I asked if we could just sit anywhere (and mentioned that we were there for lunch), and she answered yes. So, we just sat at a table, not knowing that we were meant to order at the bar (I only came to realise this after 5 minutes and not being served). After we were served our food, no one came to check up on us or such either.From my experience of having Sunday Roast in the afternoon when it wasn’t busy, we had below average food and cold treatment from disinterested staff, I will not be returning to The Mill and wouldn’t recommend it especially when you can find better food and service a stone’s throw away.
