The Petersfield in Cambridge

Really enjoyed our evening at the Petersfield. Tasty mains and wickedly good puddings. Enjoyed our beers and wine. Spacious, light and airy indoors and everyone was kind to the dog! Waiting staff were attentive and efficient. Thank you.

Great place, great vibe, great food, yet the greatest of all are the people working there. Client service that’s hard to find in a pub. Special shout out to to Tom who went above and and beyond!

The staff at The Petersfield is lovely and so welcoming! I recommend to start with the bread hummus olives and vegetables board - delicious! I had fried haddock and fries and loved it! Both quantity and taste were perfect. I would only swap the peas with another more tasty vegetable, or even just salad!

Great pub with lovely atmosphere and great drinks. Food is standard pub grub. Nothing special.

The Petersfield is fantastic, one of the very best pubs in Cambridge, or elsewhere for that matter. A wide range of beer and lager, wines and spirits and a great cocktail menu. Very nice friendly and helpful staff complete the experience. I highly recommend the Petersfield.

Great sticky toffee puddingEdit in response to the request for more feedback:The pub is nice, nice atmosphere, very pleasant, the food I feel isn't great, I believe me and my partner had the fried calamari or squid, there were stringy bits which didn't taste nice. I've had a Sunday roast here too, I feel it could be better.Best sticky toffee pudding I've ever had though.

Delightfully cosy pub with a creative menu, warming atmosphere and good service. Came here for a midweek dinner and easily found a table despite the pub’s popularity. Highly in-keeping with the Geldart and Cambridge Blue’s high standard of English pub culture.

Fantastic food and a lovely, relaxing environment. Rachel took our order and was very friendly and helpful. We had sea trout and it was absolutely superb! The puddings were delicious too. Very inventive menu, high quality ingredients and felt like great value. Highly recommend a visit!
