We came to the red bull for a function room nude life drawing event for a hen do. The staff at the red bull were so friendly we had such a good time. Would definitely come back!

Nice pub with good beer and friendly staff. Main attraction is that the pizzas are very good. A little on the pricier side but compared to some in Cambridge it’s average.

Henry and Ollie were such a pleasure and made excellent food and drink selections. They were very busy, but made sure to take wonderful care of our group. Great food and great drinks! First time having Halloumi fries and they did NOT disappoint. Pizza was crispy and various topping options were sure to satisfy the whole group. Will definitely be back!

I used to be a regular here when I lived in Cambridge. Since then, the pub has changed hands but the food, atmosphere and beer are still excellent. Henry, who I assume is the new manager was very attentive and made sure everything was up to scratch...My old feedback is that there's basically no car park anymore because of a C-19 marquee that has appeared out back. This is great for people who don't want to sit inside, but we used to come here straight after hockey training, as did he rugby club crew. A good load of us used to drive there, so I do wonder if effectively having no parking is bad for business...hopefully it's a short lived change and the new management can balance some outdoor seating with the need for a few parking spots. Will definitely be back!

As a big group with small children the new marquee in the car park was the ideal space for the kids to run around and have a bit more ventilation for Covid than if we were inside. The host/server Henry was extremely helpful and very charming and was able to help with unusual orders for the kids. He made us feel very welcome and well looked after!

Its such a shame. The layout of the pub is nice and it looks at first glance like its a nice place. But the prices are criminal! Without looking at the menu (my fault) i ordered a birra moretti and a cheese bacon burger. I figured, like most places ÂŁ5-ÂŁ5.50 for a pint and ÂŁ8 - ÂŁ12 max for a burger and chips. The bill was ÂŁ22.50!!!! ÂŁ6.60 a pint and ÂŁ15.90 a burger and chips which came in a cardboard box. It was nice...but not ÂŁ15.90 nice! And the chips. A handful at most. A real let down and a real shame. Sort your prices out Red Bull!

Loved this place! We drove by it and decided to stop, and we're so glad we did! Super dog friendly, they immediately brought us a water bowl for our doggy, and when we ordered a plain burger patty for him they brought out a bigger bog bowl for him to eat out of. The staff was incredibly kind. Also, they have vegan pizza!!

I booked a very last minute table at the Red Bull over the phone for a fairly large group of people for a surprise birthday drink. I spoke to Henry in the first instance who was absolutely wonderful and couldn’t have been more helpful. Henry then put me in touch with his manager Emma who is equally delightful and booked me in the same day I made the first enquiry. On the night Henry happened to be working and was incredibly accommodating and attentive. Thank you to Henry, Emma and the rest of the team for a lovely evening - we will definitely be back.

This pub changed my life. The Red Bull is a good solid local pub in Newnham (a central Cambridge district). The staff are friendly, the pizzas are good and they serve a good range of beers and wines. It’s busy mainly with locals but you get a few passers by dropping in. Monday’s are two for one on the pizzas and it’s wise to book ahead.I actually live in Cambridge because of the Red Bull. I was living in London and whilevisiting a friend (who was unexpectedly out) I ended up waiting for him in the Red Bull. After sinking a pint by the fire I asked myself why I didn’t just live nearby. After another pint by the fire I could come up with no good reason why I didn’t live somewhere so excellent. In fact why didn’t I live close by? The rest is history. I came here to study, founded a business here and still live nearby. They’ve a big outside heated area during COVID-19 and have warm cosy atmosphere the rest of the time.
