Very beautiful place and atmosphere . Great service. I got the Quinoa bowl with chicken and it was delicious. The next night I ate from the buffet. The only thing worth mentioning is that I expected the food to be a little better quality with how much it is worth.

Service was ok, but the food was absolutely horrible. I would have expected better quality for a $165 meal. Don't bother coming here. Go to McDonald's or Hardee's. Way overrated.

the takeout option was a nice touch, as we were able to take our food to the white gazebo and enjoy a beautiful morning by the water. The breakfast was solid, nothing too crazy or inventive, but it got the job done. Breakfast potatoes were quite good. The service was quick, as well. Unfortunately, I had to dock it a star because they forgot the wheat bread with my omelet. People make mistakes! But, mistakes come with consequences, albeit in this situation, only a star consequence for a respectable total of four stars.

We went to the restaurant for breakfast every day we stayed at the resort...we were led to our table by Quadry who was so welcoming and went above and beyond seeking out gluten free bread for me each day..he was the first part of the experience, then we had a wonderful server Shaun..the breakfast buffet was really good. Everything you could want food wise but the overall surroundings were so relaxing and pleasing too...

Very disappointed. They claim to have online ordering, but it didn't work for me and at least one other customer that I overheard. Ordered to-go at the separate to-go window. The cashier was polite and helpful. For $68, got a cup of crab soup, mixed green salad with chicken, cheeseburger w/ fries, kids fish and chips, and quesadilla w/ side salad. The cashier forgot to ask what I wanted for salad dressing, and I forgot to ask when picking up. The food was very low quality. The burger was super basic. The quesadilla was also very basic and carelessly thrown into the box. The pico de gallo and guacamole had very little flavor. The fish sticks looked meager, but to be fair, my 5 year old daughter said they were good. I realize take-out it is not as good as eating in, but based on the way this food looked, I would not have wanted to eat it inside the restaurant either. I could understand if it was $30.

Great selection of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The complimentary breakfast for hotel guests is great - the Belgian waffles are simple yet delectable! The egg white wrap is also really good! I have yet to eat dinner here, but seeing the other reviews, Iām sure itās great! Will be coming back!

Unfortunately the dishes off the menu took foreverā¦for both meals. This delay is compounded when part of the group gets the buffet. I will say that my daughter and I enjoyed the dinner buffet very much and the rockfish and soup were good but they should be ashamed of charging $48 for two minuscule crab cakes off the menu. After a 45 minute wait, it was insulting. Bottom line on dinner - at $38 the buffet with the seafood, vegetables, and prime rib was the way to go. This earned two stars. Breakfast was a complete disaster. My wife got the buffet and was underwhelmed across the board - for $25. Sad. It was on par with microwaved Hampton Inn food. Part of that was an order of eggs but no direction on how to place or receive the order. After the rest of us placed a simple order from the menu, we sat there for 40 minutesā¦no water refills, no coffee, no teaā¦no nothing!! My wife chased down her eggs from the kitchen. At some point, the waiter walks up, puts down the bill and says ātake your time with thisā. WHAT?!? Clearly he was living by those words. I asserted in no uncertain terms that we had not even been served drinks much less our lousy breakfast, hence the LACK OF PLATES!! I told him that he had 5 minutes to make it right. He failed. He blamed it on the kitchen being ābacked upā. I pointed across the restaurant- it was half full at best. The food came out soon thereafter. It was okā¦at bestā¦plain and basic. He never gave me my coffee or filled the waters! Unacceptable. As we were getting up (now late for our appointment), he brings my wifeās eggs over and presents them with an incredulous āHere we are!ā as if he was expecting a golf clap from us and cheers from the balcony. You have to be kidding. Unbelievable!! He got no applause. If Hyatt wants to run a 5-star resort, this needs to be significantly improved. I knowā¦Covid. Look, everyone in that restaurant was paying top dollar for shoddy service and a slow lackluster kitchen..we donāt want excusesā¦match the high prices with commensurate service and food or shut the doors. IF we recommend this resort it will come with a big warning about Waters Edge.

We went for the dinner buffet. Half our party had the Mac and cheese with shellfish, which was quite good though the shrimp was a bit over cooked. The balance of spice in the cheese sauce was excellent. The other half the party had fish and chips, very disappointing. There were a few small pieces of battered fish, a tiny portion of slaw, and a mass of soggy fried potatoes. The buffet was sparse at $38 a person, so we gave it a pass. Service was excellent.

Beautiful location. Nice selection of dishes but a bit on the pricey side. Friendly and attentive staff. I tried their hummingbird tomato soup and their roasted chicken with purƩe potatoes. I enjoyed the experience.

For being pricey and in the Hyatt one would expect better service and food. When I received my entree Crab cake platter, all things on the plate looked charred. I ordered my crab cake broiled. Here is what one of three crab cakes one gets. The crab bisque doesnāt have much crab, and the crab dip after getting over top crab meat placed it tastes like salted cheese dip.
