Wildwood Restaurant in Cambridge

It was mid week and extremely busy. We had to wait for a table to be cleared before we were sat down a few minutes later. Despite how busy they were with only two staff out front we were served quickly and efficiently. Excellent service by Holly. Delicious food, great service what more does anyone need. Well done team 👏👏👏

Me and my girlfriend have been 4 times to wildwood and the taste of the food is just incredible! The price point is spot on for the portions you receive, the service has been nothing short of above and beyond with the staff asking you if anything is wrong and happily sorting any problem out my first time I dropped a knife and even though I wasn’t using it the staff member who was serving us saw this, picked it up and replaced it so quickly! They are always so clued into what the customer needs it’s remarkable! If you’ve never been go now!

The food here is usually good and service is okay (was not long ago left to eat in the rain as the canopy was not functional and waiting staff did not seem too bothered about fixing this). But as of late waiting staff seem less and less accommodating. It’s a shame to walk into an establishment with nice food and have staff blare “the kitchen is closed! ” from a distance at 20:00. In light of everything the food and hospitality is set to face you’d think establishments would treat customers with a little more respect. La margherita 30 seconds down the road was much more accommodating.

Ate here on a staycation in Cambridge. Tasty food, particularly the Garlic Tiger Prawns. Friendly service from Saffron. Thank you!

Great tasting and a very large range of food. Generous portion sizes and were able to cater to a large group quite smoothly.Only negative was the addition of a service charge (regardless of group size, and I despise that) and that they took a while just to sort out a jug of tap water despite numerous requests. It didn't take away from the experience though and I would definitely return.

Great experience at Wildwood today.I know this is a chain restaurant but it was very nice. We visited the Stratford one before and it wasn’t half as good.Staff here were so friendly and pizza I had was very good.Dining room was nice, situated on bridge street just near the cam.Recommend restaurant in Cambridge for lunch or dinner.

Went in after trying 3 other restaurants all were very busy .We were all pleasantly surprised.Staff were very friendly and chatty.I had the sausage calzone which was very good .My wife and our friends had the Chicken burger. They all said was good.Wine was also goodThe girl behind the bar gave us a free cocktail to try which was a nice touch.Overall a good experience and not overpriced. We would certainly go backThanks for a good lunch

Wildwood was very quiet when we got there last. We were very hungry and thought to eat here because it was the closest to us that has good reviews around Cambridge. We had pork baby back ribs and buttermilk chicken burger. They were okay. They’re not bad but they’re not that good either and we probably wont go back again. Their salad did not have dressing. The fries were good tho! Service was good too altho the lady dropped the ribs on the table, cant blame her, it was a pretty heavy plate/board.

After having a nice walk round the Town Centre we stopped of at Wildwood to see if thsy had a table available for 2. Luckily for us they did and i have to say the Staff, Service and Food were exceptional. Definately worth visiting if your in the area (best to book to avoid disappointment).I had the Piri Piri Chicken Burger with Side Salad & Fries, the other half had the Philly Steak Sandwich with Fries.
