What happened to Zizzi? It used to be one of my favourite places in Cambridge... Well, not anymore. The pizza used to be thin and crusty, now it's small, thick and heavy and burnt. Awful. And the dessert, a tasteless waste of calories. What happened? Please get back to the old Zizzi way! Although after this evening I doubt I'll ever go back there anyway

Very delicious food and nice staff! Highly recommended.

Nice food but the service was poor. Our drinks sat on the counter for 10 min before being brought to the table and weren't served up until after we'd finished the starters. We nearly served them ourselves. Starters weren't cleared and we weren't offered desert. No one bothered to thank us for our custom when we left. We were forced to pay the service charge being a group of 6 although wouldn't have chosen to tip given the service. Also note that the server informed us on arrival that no Tesco vouchers were accepted, which may be relevant for some customers.

The food at Zizzi is always too my taste. I particularly like the long oblong pizzas they do.The hike in prices, especially the wine, after lockdown is evident... but that's par for the course. Same as the other Cambridge restaurants. Our most disappointing experience was being told that this particular branch had been given a popularity status by Zizzi which precluded them from being able to accept Tesco vouchers. (A fact we had found unmentioned on their booking web site.)Our primary reason for choosing this Bene't St branch, unfortunately, was because it accepted these vouchers, so we probably won't be returning much in the future.

We queued at approx 5:30 and we’re greeted by a rather arrogant person who seemed very annoyed that we had not booked. Firstly, we hadn’t meant to stay in Cambridge for as long and having done so decided to treat ourselves to a meal before returning home. If, at this stage, we had been told that there was no availability, we would have been disappointed but moved on. We were then told that there was no opportunity to pay by cash ( why?) and patronised by being asked twice if we would be able to pay by card. Having been led to a table we were left for just over the acceptable time before the young lady came back to take our order - showing no interest or ability to build rapport. Our food was delivered to the table by a friendly young man who noticed immediately that we had not been served our drinks and went to get them. The food was good, hot, well cooked and nicely presented. Unfortunately on visiting the Ladies, I encountered a sign stating that the facility was out of use and I should use the Mens opposite. The one I used had no loo seat, a filthy floor and no means of drying my hands. The restaurant was not full. People were being turned away and the entrance was not manned consistently. We decided not to stay for pudding or coffee and did not leave a tip. Come on Zizis, you can do better.

My experience with Cambridge Zizzi is very good and it’s all because of the service of Julia, she serves us very often and we simply like her well good behave, good manners, caring about customers choice and gives good advise and suggestion about food menu. She is honest and helpful , I wish her all the very best for her future and career with Zizzi. I every time for here only for her good behaviour and service. She is an asset for Zizzi

We were in Cambridge today and we're looking for a place to eat there were 15 of us in total the gentlemen said to my sister in law are you crazy without a booking. The way the staff greeted us and treated us was unacceptable the place was barely full and they had no intention to seat us even though the whole of the upstairs was empty. We even suggested separating us but still a firm no. Their excuse was they have bookings for 8pm and we were there at 4pm! We were with children and elderly people also. They showed no compassion at all for us. I would not recommend this place at all.

The Glutenfree garlic bread tasted nothing like garlic and wasn't that great to be honest. The size of it was huge though. The gluten free pasta I ordered tasted really good. The staff was very friendly. All in all it was alright, I personally find the price a bit too expensive, but the food was good and I always appreciate gluten free options.

I really loved this restaurant. Great pizzas and you can order everything and pay everything on the app (including spilling the costs with your dining mates) - which is very convenient. The pizza and the vibe were really great.
