First time I've ever thrown a takeaway in the bin.. the food was that bad. Ordered a tiger dish, basically spiced gravy with a couple of onions, the rice was a microwaved claggy mess, stale pops and chewy bhaji's :(

Brilliant service, beautiful food.I pre ordered on Benfleet Eats app and it arrived on time by the minute. One dish was missing but after a phone call explaining the issue, they sent another delivery person with our missing order before we even finished the poppadoms.Top service and the best takeaway curry I've had in a while.100% recommend!

This was the best takeaway delivery I've had for years. Food had great portions it was hot and freshly cooked, and really tasty. We called the restaurant to check a detail of the order and they were so helpful. Lovely all round. Will be ordering again.

Worst ever takeaway chicken tikka chilli biryani and lamb biriany I ever had. Mixed simple plain rice with lamb curry and onion to make the biriany. Lamb tasted 2/3 days old or may be more, had to bin it. This guy's shouldn't be in the food business 😡

The food was amazing, top class and there's something for everyone either the more traditional dishes you expect and lots new to try, I had the Shatkora which was really fruity and zesty... Yummy!Banquet night on a Tuesday or Wednesday is a great deal, perhaps too much food but everything was great and always tastes best in a restaurant - broaden your curry horizons and give it a try!

Lovely placeAs most people during lockdown we had to get takeaways and found Amala. The first time we had it we found it was amazing, by far the best Indian takeaway me and my partner have had. So the whole of lockdown we used them and as lockdown has lifted we thought we should go and have a meal in the restaurant. It's such a lovely place, the staff are very kind and polite. A friend of ours can't eat gluten and the staff were very accommodating, assisting her with what food she could have. I would definitely recommend going there for a meal, it is such a lovely peaceful place.

Lovely food and great atmosphere (they recently renovated and it looks great). The only down side is the drinks are pricy! (£4.50 for a large diet coke!). I'd definitely come back but will put up with tap water...

Best restaurant with Indian take outs ever! I’m very impressed! I recently moved away from London and have missed having a good curry! The restaurant is very very clean and has amazing decor. Nice clean Whig linen and quality cutlery. Since coming to Benfleet, I found all of the other Indian places in the area are buffet houses which is a shame. I don’t like to eat food that’s sat all day after being cooked at some point in a week! Discovering Amala just on the high toad has made me super happy! I like to eat my food fresh, flavourful and without it dripping in grease! The food here is delicious and the healthiest Indian take out you’d ever get! I’m South-Asian so I’m used to real Indian food and it’s amazing to find somewhere that makes food just like my Mum would living at home in London. Thank you Amala!
