Maharaja Restaurant in Castle Point

Lovely, friendly staff (great with kids too). Very flavoursome food. Ordered from the menu and ate from the buffet and both options were tasty, not greasy and plenty of choice too & they cater for vegetarians & vegans. Our new regular Indian! Great decor too - lots of red & gold, just as an Indian should be! Highly recommend!

We went today for a Father's day treat from my kids, first impressions were good, restaurant was clean and well presented. The service was lovely, all the staff were very attentive and friendly. Starters was served at our table, decent portions and great taste. Main was Buffet, had a great selection, food was tasty, it's the first time we tried it, we will definitely be back in the future, thank you to all the staff for their service, we all enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

First time at this restaurant, the customer service was great didn't wait long to be sat and served. Also a plus is they have their own customer car park.Staff are very friendly which made the whole dinning experience great. Food was amazing we had the chicken briyani and thali. Decor is amazing from outside and even more amazing from inside. Only downside is the spoons was bit heavy when eating after a while. With the chicken briyani if it came with potato instead of cucumber as side dish I would give it 10 out of 10.Looking forward to the shisha when all up and running in couple month time.

the service was lovely and the food was heavenly. all the cutlery and decorations were all on theme and was overall the best Indian i have ever had :)

Stag night done right!!! We booked the VIP room. Restaurant has amazing decor… the best food and the atmosphere was just amazing. It was a Friday night with live dj. Highly recommend to everyone if planning for an event. Book in advance as they are busy!!

Been here for the first time tonight. Not up to my standard of Indian. Very poor quality of meat and fish and lacking in flavours on all our dishes. Our drinks of cokes even come out flat must have been out of a bottle or the gas wasn't checked. Just wanted to get out and pay the bill. Can't fault the service / management and he was very apologetic for our experience hence the 2 star rather than 1. Sorry just won't be returning again.

Authentic taste. Himalayan spices and herbs blended so nicely to give different experience all together.

Had a delicious buffet dinner with good friends. The food choices were reasonably varied but (in my opinion) the temperature could have been a bit warmer, however, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
