Just ordered a Chinese takeaway from this place on the phone. They didn’t tell me it was cash only on the phone. So when I went to collect I then had to drive around looking for a cash machine.Just started eating it and it just tastes plain weird. Every dish looks grey and the chicken chow mien is really not nice. The most simple dish to get right. I have a feeling this is some reheated from yesterday. I won’t be going back again. Hoping I don’t have an upset stomach now…

Im sorry but this chip shop has gone down hill big time, reheated chips , greasiest fish and chips around, thought it was a 1 off but happening every time, i wont go back .

After not excepting cash, had to go to cash machine. Batter was never burnt and chips been service up before fish. Hence chips cold. Won't be going back ever.

Bought fish chips here many times always hot & nicely cooked. Fish is smashing sooo many chips even in a medium portion.

It's great place for either fish and chips or Chinese. Both are as good as each other.Never been disappointed.

Usually ok, but visited yesterday for Chinese takeaway, chilli salt ribs not very tasty but to cap it all had long hair in, totally put us off meal, needless to say meal went in bin, will think twice before next visit

Fish and chips are decent if you go at the right time. Don't go there at opening time because they re-fry chips from the previous day. Don't go there late for the same reason. When it's, done fresh it's very tasty. The Chinese takeaway element however I would avoid completely. Not very tasty at all , again seems, like they reheat old stock.

After just moving to the area I wanted to find another Chippy other than Pegotty's near McDonalds.I went here last night for two large portion of chips and two battered sausage - it came to a reasonable £9.40.It took me around 3 minutes to get home after collecting the food and I have to say I was slightly disappointed.Some of the chips were under cooked, all of them were dripping in oil and the two Savaloy's were very hard, almost like they weren't sitting in water under the lamps.To top it off this morning both myself and my partner have had awful stomachs. This could however be un-related, that said - this is the only foreign food we have consumed to our regular diet.Not sure I'd be back to be honest.

I got the first part of a DIY wig cooked in my sweet and sour chicken balls. See what you get it might a brush! I love a free gift and how thoughtful, perhaps she noticed I was thin on top. It funny how you can missjudge people because she seemed really unfriendly and not helpful in the slightest but saw I needed a bit more hair. Well done!
