Shampan in Castle Point

Amazing food and amazing service.I will be recommending to everyone I know if they want a great meal with great service

I've tried many Indian restaurants in my time but Shampan is BY FAR the best and most delicious Indian I have ever eaten. Usually get a takeaway but today decided to eat in and it was even better.Delicious food and lovely service.I asked if there was any Indian deserts on the menu and there wasn't, but he went to the kitchen and brought me out freshly made gulab jamin (which were for the staff) absolutely 5*.

Very nice evening it was my Sons birthday, food was really tasty and Service fantastic. Nice touch at the end night cap drinks and a piece of cake of birthday boy. Abour exceptional 👏

Popped in on a Monday evening for a family meal to celebrate a birthday. The service was excellent; attentive but not invasive. The food was genuinely outstanding; I've not had lamb cooked that perfectly before. And at the end they brought out a nice slice of cake with a candle for my daughter after hearing it was her birthday. I've been here before and will definitely be back soon.

Clean restaurant, amazing service.Food was hot and delicious and very generous portion sizes. As were the cocktails.Highly recommend

It was OK, pleasant but needed seasoning or more spice. I don't add salt to meals ever, but I had to with this meal. Certainly, something I wouldn't expect to do with Indian food.

Went to Shampan Wednesday staff very good . All enjoyed food except I had lamb tough as old boots . If you are going to charge premium prices you could use a better cut of meat or cook it longer.Ps . The sauce it came with was very nice.

Started well with really good starters but went downhill when the mains came out. the waiter called out chicken tikka masala which was for someone else but eventually turned out that it was actually my roman josh, also avoid the ales, one of our party ordered their drinks 3 times before they actually arrived some 20 mins later. when my roman josh came out it was bland and hardly any heat (honestly had hotter korma) and the chicken was so salty. got to the stage we couldn't wait to get out of the place. shame as we used it before and thought the place was pretty decent but for what you get now and the prices charged.... I would go elsewhere!

We went for a curry here with family and it is the best curry I've had for ages. All beautifully presented and flavoursome. My wife is a vegetarian and was pleased with the choice and her meal. The service is outstanding and we will be returning.

Best Indian restaurant in the area.. 1000% recommended.. and the staffs are great. Great place for a family dinner.
