Father's Day Menu, Roast was stupendous. Would thoroughly recommend. Only go for the two meat roast option if you've bought your appetite as the 1/2 chicken could serve 2 and 3 Slabs of roast beef cooked to perfection are exactly that. Live music on a Sunday was very good and not intrusive.

Went to bread and cheese with family and young grandaughter. We have been before and a lovely family pub and good food. Unfortunately some of the younger clientele were obviously using drugs and seen doing so in the toilet. We left. Such a shame.

Went for a Sunday roast on Fathers Day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent and the food delicious (no frozen or microwave rubbish). The interior is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Head and shoulders above other pubs in the area.

Had a great meal four of us the manger came and cleared our table avery happy young man staff friendly and as soon as we went in brought over a bowl of water for our puppy 🐶 would advise to give it a try

Ordered Gluten-free option, not available. Fish had lots of bones in and under cooked egg. Expensive meal but very disappointing

First time here at the weekend. One of the better pub roast dinners I've had on a Sunday so I think i would revist. Staff were friendly and servings were good too. Price seemed was reasonable for the quality of meat served too. Thanks for a pleasant meal.

Went for a family Sunday lunch last week for 10 of us, it was a wonderful meal, must have been the biggest roast dinner ever, beautifully cooked, tasty and the service was perfect, Harrison was very patient while we ordered and attentive but not intrusive during the meal. We were all very happy and we will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to all at the Bread and Cheese - see you again soon!

I’ve got to say, this is one of the best roasts I’ve ever had in my life, haven’t made a Google review in a while but this genuinely deserves it, the amount of food and quality was just incredible, it was genuinely faultless, and my Sunday’s have just gotten that bit better!Roll on Sunday! It really was sensational

Has changed owners several times in the last few years the current ones are the best by far. Went in yesterday for midweek lunch and was impressed. Has a very good selection of food on the menu, prices are a bit on the pricey side but quality was very good. I had a classic burger which was very nice and my wife who is a vegan had a noodle type stir fry which she said was great (put pictures up of both) Desserts very good too !
