A great place for fish 🐠 and chips 😉

Since new owner food is excellent I recommend the ohilly steak sandwich and breakfast bagets

I placed my order for a 'well done' fish supper and some other items. When I got home there were no chips with my order. I wouldn't be as cross about this, but I thought that my order looked very small when it was bagged and so I asked the member of staff was my chips included in my order. Before I left the chip shop I was assured that everything was correct.When I opened my fish it was so greasy that I could hardly get the paper off it. The fish was barely cooked and was saturated with grease. It was so bad I could have wrong it out.All I can say is if you use this chip shop expect poor service and disgusting food!

Food is okay, chips are never great portions are acceptable but lean on occasion

We've never had a bad bag of chips at The Village Fryer. The supper specials are brilliant for the price, you could feed an army with them.
