We tried the cafe for a late breakfast and although the staff were very nice, we thought the food was a bit bland. Everything looked nice. Good choice of items etc but it was all a bit 'post-war kitchen'. My partner had the eggs benedict and I had the full breakfast. All nice enough, but any Full English really depends on good quality bacon and (especially) sausages. Neither of the these were very nice. So we ate our bland food, drank our drinks (nice hot Chocolate!) then wandered out. Passed the Nice Staff. All very nice. However, as we walked out I noticed that they were selling produce from Claytons, (the amazing, family butcher, just up the road in Potton) - Why not serve these Premium Local Sausages/Bacon on the menu? They're missing a trick there. Good quality, locally sourced sausages and bacon for the "Full Potton Breakfast"Still, the place was nice and clean, not too expensive but not 'great value', staff were nice just let down by the bland food. We're trying the competition at the Boundary Cafe today. Let's see what they're up against...

We use this cafe very often on Sundays and although they don't have roast dinner's the food they serve is excellent, their breakfast is first class. The staff are always very helpful and the cafe and kitchen are very clean. I would recommend this cafe to anyone.

The place has been a favourite for s few years, now a little disheartened. The breakfast has had price increase and they have cut down what they give you minus one sausage and one hash browns.I know you have been closed for a time but don't increase the prices to get your money.It.wss quiet when I went in usually busy.Treat us well and we'll come back if not another customer walks.Great.staff but they are only half of the reason to come in.

Was looking forward to the cafe opening up again but what is going on !!! We perfectly understand the Covid precautions and the importance of staying safe but the experience wasnt good. We were shown to a table that wasnt that clean but no problem as we wiped it with our own wipes. We ordered £55.00 worth of food and drinks and to be honest the food was nowhere as good as before the lock down. On leaving we were informed that it was our responsibility to clear up . Wasnt expecting that !! I have not experienced this in any other resturant / cafe..I took my two daughters with me to show them this little treasure but we were all so dissapointed . Standards seem to have sliped somewhat.
