Had a nice latte coffee takeaway with mince pie. Use it regularly when cycling past you can eat outside on the benches or inside

**AVOID** unless you want AWFUL coffee served by a VERY UNPLEASANT man. Extremely rude, condescending and unwelcoming towards customers. There are multiple reviews with similar comments....I wish I'd seen them before entering!!!

Very nice homemade sausage rolls and a nice cup of tea & coffee. Friendly Man U fan, Dom, customer kept us entertained while we were visiting. We will definitely visit again 😊

I had a vegan sausage roll. The roll was put in a microwave making the pastry soggy and disgusting. I also had a latte which tasted awful. The staff were nice but the food was terrible and I will not be returning.

One of the best sausage rolls in Bedfordshire, maybe even the world. Served warm

Wishing I could give no stars as 1 star is overly generous for this negative experience.Visited this café today on a day trip with friends. Looked like a cute coffee shop in a lovely location. Decided to pop in for some coffee and cake. What an egregiously wrong decision that was. The staff in general were extremely patronising and unwelcoming from the offset. My friend who has a severe nut allergy asked she was able to eat the sausage roll, to which the man replied, there were no nuts in the sausage roll, however, they couldn't guarantee there would be no cross-contamination in the kitchen where it was made. After being reassured there were absolutely no nuts in the sausage roll, she ordered it.After taking a very small bite (mostly pastry), she knew instantly that, not only did this taste of walnut, but she was having an allergic reaction. Luckily, she was proactive and took some antihistamines. It was very fortunate that the first bite was small and mostly contained pastry as without the medication, this could have developed very quickly into a major anaphylactic shock. We needed clarification about the recipe as her reaction indicated there were indeed nuts in the sausage roll. Upon speaking to the man behind the counter, enquiring about the recipe, he didn't offer the ingredient recipe and dismissed our friend's allergic reaction. He made no eye contact and was incredibly passive aggressive. To dismiss someone's allergic reaction is downright diabolical, especially considering we were only trying to alert the business of this issue so that someone else doesn't suffer from their incompetence. I cannot stress enough how deeply unimpressed we all were at this dismissal, nevermind concerned about how apathetic he was about the seriousness of the situation. He even admitted that this was not the first time that allergies have been a cause for concern!I do not recommend this café to anyone, particularly if you have any allergies as I do not trust the business is operating within food safety guidelines.

A little jewel of a cafe, serving the best tasting sausage rolls for miles around. Clearly homemade, the warm sausage rolls are made with beautifully buttery puff/flaky pastry and the soft meaty filling is absolutely stunning; bursting with flavour and a touch of spice. Try one; you'll be amazed by how good they are - especially on a cold day!

Will never return and advise others to stay clear of this place.Rude unwelcoming patronising man behind the counter. From the second I walked in I was made to feel like a criminal for even being out of my house. I suggest if he doesn’t like people being out for their daily walk and using his coffee shop that he closes until the pandemic is over.I asked a simple question - what different varieties of sausage roll he had in the counter and his reply in an aggressive manner was ‘MEAT’.He then decided to give me a Covid lecture and made it clear he didn’t want my business.I did buy a sausage roll as I was in complete shock as to how he was speaking to me and it was limp and VERY greasy! Pretty disgusting.Very horrid man.I will never return just like many others I have seen in these reviews.

Have fallen in love with this place 😍 great coffee, amazing pies and fab Bakewell tart. The gentleman serving has a dry but sharp wit so probably not to everyone's taste, We loved him! Can't wait for our next Woburn walk so we can work up a thirst and appetite.
