Globe Inn in Central Bedfordshire

Lovely to visit this little gem, great drinks choice. We went for lunch and the food was yummy. Staff need to work on their customer focus a bit as we weren't checked on or offered any more drinks (went to the bar our selves). I do think the young lady was on training though. I'd still go back with out a doubt though

Busy Canalside pub with a good choice of beer, usually! However the day we went a few had sold out but because it was so busy they didn't have time to replace them. Didn't spoil our enjoyment of being there and we managed to have a few drinks and use the facilities which by the way were nice and clean

Nice view and canal side pub. Drive way seems a bit tight if pedestrians are there but follow on to the car park at back.Nice atmosphere and charming character pub offer great indoor and outdoor experience.

Lovely spot by the canal, great selection of ale's on offer. Food is good, although everything came out a little overcooked (Ham and the steak). Service was good and the staff very friendly.

Typical Sunday lunchtime around 12 but not crowded.As you can see in the picture, the portions are a bit modest, but maybe just for me.Service is good but could do with an extra staff.Waiting time for a meal was about 30-40 minutes.Nice place to be and enjoy a meal/drink.

Great service. Super busy, lovely food. Dog friendly pub! But the drive to the carpark is right next to the canal and also doubles as the pedestrian route in so is not for the faint hearted.

Good atmosphere, nice service, prices aren't too bad and the recommendation gin was gorgeous. Gluten free burger was okay. Very hard, felt like it had been very quickly defrosted and warmed so was a little disappointed but would go again. Would be a lovely location in the summer.

Lovely pub by the canal, plenty of car parking. Inside a nice atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful and dog friendly. Had the steak which was cooked just right. I would definitely recommend this pub. Have been before in the summer nice to sit outside and watch the boats go up and down the canal.

Staff were kind enough to put up a happy birthday banner by surprise. Everyone commented it was a nice touch.Staff member that took order came back several times to check they got certain things right. (Which is far better than getting it wrong)Nice atmosphere and location of pub.Food wise, heard the salmon was really good and pie was good. The macoroni cheese rubbish.My burger came with a surprise ingredient, so couldn't customise it properly.Mixed bag. Going on a different day, perhaps summer and sitting outside I may have bumped the review up to a 4.Will go back sometime and change my review if appropriate.

The beef sandwich was from the Lite bite menu! Definitely value for money. The Hunters chicken and salad was very delicious.
