Green Man in Central Bedfordshire

It’s the first time I’ve ever had to complained about a meal. So, so bad. I love pub grub but their microwave is working overtime. Staff great but food is shocking.

The food was Excellent the service was all right but not up to the normal service the had a wedding booked in the big rest restaurant. We would of gone somewhere else for my mums birthday and it was cold in there.

Nice pub ..the roast needs to be a proper roast . The pork was a slice of bacon . Roadt potatoes were under cooked and cauli cheese was raw . Small portions . Had a few issues with service ..how many times can you say sorry lol . Felt sorry for the young serving us .. but staff were brilliant ti be fare . Just the food that was poor . Xx

Didn't stay in a room. We Went for a meal, and it was horrible. Won't be returning. Ordered starters and mains. One of our main meals was forgotten, hadn't even been ordered, the food wasn't hot was luke warm and pretty bland tasting And when the missed main meal was eventually brought out everyone else had nearly finished their mains and it was nothing like it stated on the menu, ingredients were missing from the dish and the sauce was horrible on the seabass dish, nothing like a lobster sauce more like a gravy. Cups of tea weren't very nice and the coke had no syrup. No apologies for the forgotten meal or for anything.

Went last Sunday (27 th) for my wife's birthday, 7 out of 10 of us had the roast it was awful, comments gather afterwards. Food cold, everything heaped in middle of plate, potatoes either over or under cooked, beef tough, veg. rubbery like it had been frozen, yorkshires tough. Took complaints to management, have yet to receive any form of apology.

Had a great 4 night stay for a training course . Room was spot on Food was fantastic and staff were very friendly and helpful Will deffinatly returning 👍

A cracking little place, traditional old style country pub with accommodation. The accommodation was really nice, very clean and tidy with views overlooking the local countryside. The food was lovely and the rest of the menu looked just as good. Highly recommended to book if wanting food as I was there on a week night and they were very busy. Staff very polite and Nothing to much. Would happily stay there again without question.

Great burger, lovely venue and friendly staff. If I could ask for one thing, one or two more ales on tap. All in all though, a great Sunday lunch!

Pretty much everything on the roast was cooked from frozen, nothing was fresh. I’ve been to this place a couple of times before lock down and it was lovely, so was really disappointed when it came out. Shouldn’t charge so much for a cheap roast!!

I didn't stay here..we went there for a Sunday afternoon dinner..waited forever...then nobody knew anything about our order, had to show our receipt as proof, then waited another eternity for what was just microwave ready meal type food..which is fine if that's reflected in the price...but it wasn't ..I am unable to recommend this place to anyone...many years ago it was a nice place.
