This is a beautiful country pub and the food is amazing. The steak melted in your mouth and I can honestly say it was the best I've ever had. Staff are lovely and friendly and very welcoming

Excellent evening with friends in a pleasant atmosphere, service and food to usual high standards with a good range of choices for starters, mains and desserts.Would recommend for a meal for two or for that special occasion with family and friends.

Stopped by for a Sunday roast and it was excellent. We had the beef and chicken roasts and both were delicious. The bread and butter pudding for after was very creamy. The price was also reasonable for such high quality food.

Really lovely village gastro-pub. Food was superb and plentiful. Staff and service was friendly and warm. Visited for my birthday and was a very special meal. Covid safety measures were respected and we were able to enjoy a lovely meal out. Will definitely return and would certainly recommend.

We stopped here mid way through our ten mile walk for a much needed bite to eat. We ate in the bar area as we had our little dog with us. The pub is lovely and cosy especially with the log burner on. The portion sizes were generous and we couldn't fault our meal or beers! We will definitely be back here again!
