Jumbos in Central Bedfordshire

Food is lovely, but wish they would be honest with delivery times, ordered at 6.45pm was told 1 hour its now 8.45pm and still no food..not the first time Yet again ordered 6.30 was told just over 1 hour for delivery 8.30 still no food... if they advised 2 hours wait we wouldn't have ordered!

Not sure why people suggesting dishes poor as this has never been my experience. Staff are friendly to me, but maybe politeness goes a long way? I collect so can't comment on delivery, as such food comes quick and hot!

I honestly believe this is a well deserved 1 star. 0 if I could. I have ordered from them with a friend before and been pleased. This time was just awful. The worst Chinese I've ever had both in terms of taste, price, presentation and customer service! Excessively salty and oily. Bunch of food scraps chucked in a chicken shop box. Driver also shortchanged me by £1. Meal in terms of quantity was worth £6 at most. In terms of quality I wouldn't even throw 20p at it. Absolute rip off for what I've received. Tried my best to enjoy it. Never again. Laying here feeling absolutely awful and debating whether I should sick it up in the toilet bowl. They don't pick up the phone, maybe closed early. I prob got their closing scraps. Who knows. Just avoid them, go to someone else. They clearly don't care about their restaurant or their customers, the fact they never care to atleast upload their menu online or a photo of it at the very least goes to show how much they give a.

Ordered for collection.Got the food home (5 minutes away) and it was stone cold, also I had the incorrect rice. Thought I’d phone them to rectify after 200 calls over 1 hour I finally got through! To be told by the manager they will only refund rice and it’s impossible food is cold my partner must have been late to collect! My battery died on my phone so when we called back (50times to get through this time) the manager refused to speak to us. Shocking customer service. Will never give that company my money again

Limited parking location off main Street on one way system . The food tried several dishes first visit to here chicken wings tasty and well seasoned lots of peppers onions in the dish tasty .chow mein bland tasted had been preheated and warmed through lots of soy sauce added to try and flavour it meat content tiny dry portions .Shop front stand at door and order due to covid but looking round shop needs a tidy up and clean .Person on main desk pleasant enough .overall not the worse I tasted but also short averagely. This could be one off it was midweek service

Best chinese in town! This has been our regular chinese takeout in Biggles for the past year. Recommend trying the honey roast pork, prawns in spring onions and root ginger and the salt and pepper chicken starter.

Lovely piping hot food delivered on time as always from jumbo! Great value for money. They’re 1/2 restaurants if you want a decent Chinese meal and you’re a Londoner like me.

Fresh and really good food and they are willing to adapt dishes e.g I don't like prawns but wanted special chow mein in most takeaways they would look at you like you have two heads but at jumbo the staff are lovely had two meals from here now and both have been very good thanks guys

Called them yesterday to say the duck was really fatty and have now been banned! I was advised the chef was have an off day and would do better next time, so called today and was told I'm no longer allowed to order!

After reading reviews it is probably not worth complaining (don't answer phone anyway) as probably will not get money back and just get banned as per other people's comments, too!
