Meedou in Central Bedfordshire

Had a Monday night takeaway, my sons choice for his 10th birthday. None of the food was freshly cooked, the tea smoked chicken was hard after being heated up. The food was not even hot and only travelled 5 mins in car to take it home. Even the prawn crackers were yesterdays. Absolutely disgusting.

New to the area and thought we would try Meedou. It has to be the worst Chinese food I have even eaten; it went in the bin! It tasted bland, it was sloppy and very greasy. The meat was frozen and not fresh. When I ordered at prime time on a Saturday night and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes, I knew something wasn’t right! Save your money and avoid at all costs!

I love this place, go there alot. Its very delicious and is always hot. You deserve more people coming here!👍 keep it going :)) also can you do delivery? It would be awesome. 10000/10 🤩🤩

Just moved to Ampthill and found this local Chinese, food is absolutely amazing. Their food is authentic and I would definitely come back again!

New to Ampthill & thought I would give this place a go. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten, Crispy shredded beef was clearly microwaved and had no beef but just seemed what was rotten skin. No wonder they are never busy/empty when I walk past. Had to put the whole lot in the bin.

Just tried the new fried tofu dish. Wonderful!

Felt the need to write a review. New to the area and was very hesitant to order based on so few/not so good reviews. But I have to say it was possibly my favorite Chinese in some time. Highlights: Tea smoked chicken, sweet and sour pork balls (delicious!), hot Singapore chow mein. All family really enjoyed it!! Thank you Meedou, we'll be back 😊

Worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had; lemon chicken tasted like boiled chicken with a very loosely "lemony" gloopy, watery flour based sauce. Satay chicken was full of gristle, watery and bulked out with vegetables. Had to throw the whole thing away. Waste of £20

tried this place years ago and it was like it had been reheated in a microwave- last night my son whos 14 ordered chicken chowmein from there, he started to feel a little sick an hour or so after and told me that the chicken was very soft - 1:30 in the morning and without going into too much detail he is throwing his guts up and has diarrhea with bad stomach cramps. it was the chicken, it hadn't been cooked properly - avoid that place clearly the chef has no idea how to cook chicken

I moved to the area & was dieing for some chinese. I've eaten my fair share of chinese food, but this was the most disgusting food I ever had to eat~AND TO THINK THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR IT!!! No amount of seasoning, in fact it was so disgusting that the chicken tasted like fish gone off. As for the beef; not even my dog wanted to eat IT! If I could've given this place NO STARS, I would've. This place gives Chinese take aways a bad name!!
