Mount Pleasant Golf Club Bistro in Central Bedfordshire

Myself and my partner came for dinner last week. The waitress Sam went above and beyond for us. She gave us lovely recommendations for our meal and made sure we where happy through out! We would both definitely come to the golf club again

Lovely lunch at Mt Pleasant. It'll be a real shame if the golf club has a radical change. Staff at the restaurant were polite and pleasant.

Went there yesterday to speak with Natasha about having our wedding reception at the golf club but didn’t have time to eat so we thought we would go back today and try the food, 3 course lunch for 2 people with 2 soft drinks for £50.30, the food was amazing for each course for that price was absolutely amazing we didn’t take pics of all of our food but I’ll add a couple we will be going back, hopefully for our wedding reception and more food, but we will have to see what the reception price comes back as first, all the staff we encountered was very welcoming and happy to talk and offer advice, the whole place is so calming and relaxed the decked area just outside to sit is small but just what it needs looking out onto a beautiful golf course. 10/10 from us thank you for having us.Steve & Laura.

Fantastic food and service. It’s a great menu and well worth the visit. Pork Shoulder and Smoked Haddock Risotto in particular are excellent. Sam is always wonderful and a great asset to the Bistro.

At 5655 off the whites it’s a short 18 hole course. It’s made up of the Old and the New course, with an easy walk.Originally it was a 9 hole course with 2 tee boxes.The Old part is mature tree lined parkland course with undulating fairway, 11th dogleg hole, lateral ditches, fairway bunkers & therefore course management comes into play. Greens fairways and bunker were all in good condition.The NEW is an inland links type of course with small greens in good condition. But the fairways are awful it like a field (open far too early summer 2021). Very difficult to navigate from tee to green. Bunker had different type of new sand.2 driving nets & practises putting chipping green.Good Club house & with friendly staff. Pro Shop non-existent. I was told the course has been sold for housing development. Forecast to close in 2024? I gave 3 because half of the fairways are awful.Waiting to write a review

Sam our waitress was very friendly and took our order with excellent etiquette. Food was very tasty too.

First time I've played this course and was pleasantly surprised, it was February and my own course was closed due to flooding, a friendly welcome and an impressive club house for refreshments After.Very windy conditions did not spoil our round we will be back.

Was very impressed by the helpfulness of Mount Pleasant in providing a venue for tea and coffee, sandwiches and cakes after my Mum's funeral. The room was lovely - warm and light with nice touches of flowers on the tables. The food was plentiful, fresh and tasty. It made for a very relaxed atmosphere at such a difficult time. It was a relief to find somewhere that could provide all we needed despite the Christmas and New Year holidays, and be flexible just in case the rules and restrictions changed. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent playing conditions considering the time of year and the weather we've had. Fabulous dinner at the clubhouse! At least half a dozen gluten and dairy free menu choices, can't beat that!

New course opened up and in fantastic condition. Challenging for every standard of golfer which is just what you need to develop a great club. Not a member but made to feel like one very helpful staff etc. Had a great day out thanks.
