Lovely quaint place, run by very enthusiastic volunteers. Will return, by train next time. Tea and lunch (jacket spud and chilli) was a generous portion, very tasty and filling.

Lovely afternoon tea, a little gem of a place. Food was delicious, lovely friendly staff. Nice man showed us round the heritage centre, very interesting to listen to him. Plus a Christmas shop as a bonus. Highly recommended a visit.

The home made cakes and tea, presented as it should be in a pot with cups and saucers, make a difference. The cake selection is very good and the ones we tried were excellent. The friendly staff were efficient and helpful. The weather was good for our visit so we were able to sit outside and keep an eye on our motorbike. For anyone arriving by bicycle there are several Sheffield stands within the grounds. We didn't look around the heritage centre but will be returning so look forward to learning more of the site's history next time.

Lovely Little Tea Rooms! My Mum treated me to a full afternoon tea here for my birthday and I wasn't disappointed. The room we were seated in was very vintage in decor, very pretty and Just what you would expect a tea room to look like. Lovely elegant bone China is used for the service which adds to whole experience. The food is very fresh and plentiful with a variety of sandwiches, including egg mayonnaise, smoked salmon, Ham, cheese. All washed down with endless pot's of tea and followed by Scones with Jam & Cream, strawberries that had been dipped in chocolate and much more. The lady who served us was very pleasant and attentive.Overall a lovely afternoon treat and we would definitely go back.
